Those living with us enjoyed a wonderful music session, the room was filled with smiles! Music offers the chance to reminisce, allowing everyone to share their memories! Everyone loves to sing along, clap and wave to the familiar tunes!

Those living with us celebrated the National Day of Arts in Care with an exciting More...Creativity session!

We spent the morning turning recycled items from the home into musical instruments. We used glove boxes, milk bottles, and juice bottles, added elastic bands to create guitars, and pasta to make shakers. This was great fun! We are planning on using our homemade instruments during an interactive karaoke session on Saturday!

We had a wonderful afternoon celebrating National Alzheimer's Day on Sunday.

Holly, our Dementia Ambassador hosted a lovely More...Creativity arts and crafts activity, making 'forget me not' flowers out of paper. Those living with us were supported to cut the flower shapes and connect them onto pipe cleaners. After the crafting, we enjoyed delicious 'forget me not' themed cupcakes made by our talented chefs!

🌊 Claremont Manor Beach Clean & Sea Swim – A Huge Success!

We’re thrilled to share that Coryton Cove is now sparkling clean – free from plastic, glass, and other litter thanks to our amazing volunteers! We also tackled the beach hut area and Boat Cove, leaving the whole stretch looking beautiful and ready to enjoy.

We then warmed up with a hot drink and a delicious slice of spiced date cake – the perfect reward for a job well done. ☕🍰

A massive thank you to everyone who joined in, and to Teignbridge District Council for providing the equipment. This event was part of the Marine Conservation Society’s Great British Beach Clean, and we’re proud to have played our part in protecting our coastline. 🌍

We had an amazing day in the entrance foyer of Torbay Hospital 🧁🍰

We sold a selection of delicious cakes, traybakes and biscuits, made by our wonderful chef team. We raised an incredible £486, going to Rowcroft Hospice, a worthy cause close to many of our hearts!

We absolutely loved the opportunity to engage with the community and spread the Claremont Manor cheer!

🌸 Afternoon Tea Success! 🌸

We’re thrilled to share that our Afternoon Tea on Friday was a wonderful success, with a fantastic turnout and an incredible £505 raised for Breast Cancer Now - all thanks to our generous and supportive community! 💖

A huge shoutout to our amazing Chef Josh, who baked a mouthwatering selection of treats that everyone adored 🍰🧁 - and to our whole team for making this event successful.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, donated, and helped create such a lovely atmosphere. Your kindness and enthusiasm truly made the day! 💐

🎉 A huge congratulations to Dawlish Celebrates Carnival for putting on an amazing week of activities for the community! 🌞

Our staff team had a fantastic time taking part in the procession as ‘Claremont Airways’ - it was wonderful to see so many people come out on Friday evening in the sunshine, enjoying More...Fresh Air, and to support this incredible event. 💃🕺

A heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers who work tirelessly behind the scenes all year to make this happen. Your dedication is truly inspiring. 🙌

The people living with us enjoyed magical moments during a visit from Hawkridge Bird of Prey Centre! Everyone got the chance to get up close and personal with 3 beautiful owls called Pip, Echo and Walnut. We learnt interesting facts about the birds, and petting them was great for More...Sensory as their feathers were so soft!

A great time had by all.

Another fantastic trip, joining our community for Carnival celebrations.

The lovely people living with us enjoyed a yummy ice cream whilst watching some French style music, before having lots of fun watching the dog show! We also headed to the marquee to see all the clay creations, including our own!

Those living with us enjoyed creating small models using clay during our More...Creativity session on Monday afternoon. These small models will be entered into the local carnival competition.

We have enjoyed plenty of time in the garden, taking in the warm sun and More...Fresh Air.

On Monday morning we had a great exercise More...Movement session with Orsi, where some of those living with us got involved - moving their bodies! A great, fun atmosphere - full of laughs.

On Saturday a group ventured down into the local community to the carnival celebrations on the Green. We mooched around the stalls, had a go at some target football and then watched a performance by some Irish dancers whilst drinking a cool drink.
