☀️Are you pregnant and living in the Dover / Deal area of Southeast Kent?

Last weekend I ran one of my small group antenatal courses for 3 lovely pregnant couples.

They spent 2 long mornings with me over last weekend, where we went through a full antenatal birth course - talking about physiological birth and optimising hormones, choices we will be offered, decision making and rights in the birth space. As well as learning about hynpobithing as a tool and the power of our brain within the birth space.

Community is wonderful.

These circles have been a joy to host and a special space for some geourgeous women I know and have got to know.

All their generous donations have gone to .infant.nutrition.alliance who are doing incredible work providing breastfeeding support in extreme conditions. Breastfeeding in emergencies is truly life saving.

💚 Being a Holistic Doula 💚

☀️Supporting families through pregnancy and birth as they tread that winding path with its twists and turns, moments of elation and sometimes deep challenges is an absolute privilege. Each family I have supported on my journey as a birth doula and holistic birthkeeper has been a joy and unique in their own ways.

💚 To hear the kind words of how this support resonated with parents is just the icing on the cake. As doula's and birthkeepers we aren't usually in it for the praise but it certainly feels wonderful to hear the impact holistic support and continuity of care can make for families navigating pregnancy and birth.

☀️ 3 Step Rewind ☀️

🌱 A form of neuro linguistic programming that uses deep guided relaxation to help clients release unwanted emotional or physical responses to past memories and traumatic experiences. I trained in offering this process when looking for a way to help my doula and breastfeeding clients to have tools to move forward from a previous birth or breastfeeding trauma or negative experience.
