With Autumn ๐Ÿ‚ just around the corner, Iโ€™ve just noticed the horse chestnuts in abundanceโ€ฆ. Iโ€™m not ready to lose grip of the Summer just yet, sheโ€™s brought such a symphony of emotions this year.

Gardens which are still full of flora - the church opposite our home (and my studio) standing tall amidst the final surge of colour, rigidly dancing amongst this eveningโ€™s soft light. These are the things which have caught my attention this evening.

Feeling very thoughtful this evening after a beautiful day in the sun, now getting ready for this eveningโ€™s moonlight ๐ŸŒ™โœจ

(Todayโ€™s finds amongst my walk were two separately discovered magpie feathers, a blackbird feather, a fallen conker, old chalk and rosehips).

In October Iโ€™m going to start hosting some workshops, designed to provide background, some history, ideas and thoughts - encouraging healthy debate and discussion.

I hope to aid clarity and dispel the myths (albeit myths and folklore are great fun)., but I genuinely want to make a case for how the Witch came into being, and whilst perhaps not always placing men at the forefront of our history that desperately wanted to place women in their seat of seen and not heard, cleaners, child bearers and cooks., where women of power stood up, were heard and clearly seen - it was often husbands or partners that didnโ€™t appreciate this move, and other jealous women who then wished to create much panic, mischief and deliberately attempting to cause grave harm upon the unoffending woman.

But asides King Henry and King John, Alfred The Great gave rise to the term โ€˜wicceโ€™ and โ€˜wiccaโ€™ in around 890AD.

โ€œWomen who are accustomed to receiving enchanters and sorceresses and witches, do not let them live!โ€

There are many European hints at the word ๐–๐ˆ๐“๐‚๐‡ in its many guises - but modern day America and the rise of film and Hollywood, really did do its best to portray the Witch as an ugly, malevolent, evil entity. Oh no-no-no-noโ€ฆ. I hope to bring about a sense of sensibility to those who are interested in the power of the Witch.

All the while there is religion - the term Witch will always be demonised.

These talks and gatherings of women, I hope to empower and arm you with knowledge and shields of light to bare a torch to all other men and women who may be too frightened or scared to reveal their authenticity โœจ๐Ÿ’ซ

A moment of gratitude to those who follow this little beacon of light that nudges you from time to time.

Your alliance, patience and enduring open mindedness allows me to share my thoughts, visions, hopes and aspirations with you all ~ and of which I am incredibly grateful and thankful.

Wow! And what a week itโ€™s been!

Iโ€™ve experienced the most amazing spiritual synchronicities, had the best Womenโ€™s Circle this week, been a part of simply the most beautiful spirit connections during mediumship, held space and energy for some powerful reiki sessions, and worked with Tarot and Oracle.

Iโ€™ve attended a lecture on Witchcraft at Christchurch University and feel absolutely blessed that my journey of learning just keeps growing and strengthening.

My 17th Century home is finally being painted ๐Ÿ’œ PURPLE ๐Ÿ’œ after years of deliberation, and the manifestation rituals from this week are beginning to take shape.

I feel absolutely blessed to everyone who entrusts me with their most sacred and personal journeys and to those amazing, inspiring and wonderful souls Iโ€™ve met this week (both physically and spiritually).

With the Dark Night of the Soul nearly upon us, itโ€™s a lovely energy to soak in and revitalise.

The abrasiveness and harshness ~ often felt scurrying around the cool late summer air, where people are completely oblivious to anything or anyone outside of their immediate consciousness, resulting in heightened anxiety, anger and little to no personal judgement ~ provides me with a heightened sense of awareness within this Luna phase. A not so familiar energy, only felt and experienced once in every 3 years, this Dark Night, a heightened energy of the moon, really does enhance and sharpen every single sense!

It asks you to step into your power and shed the old skin, to reveal a refreshed, luminous and vibrant new auric energy.

Moon bathing tonight within the heat of an open outside fire, charging water and crystals and setting intentions ahead of the sunrise.

A beautiful start to the weekend and the awakening of Virgo, an opportunity to tune into the ebb and flow of the world. If we listen carefully to the world we can tune into the rhythms of nature and perhaps start to find a better way of being.

This New Moon is unique. It squares the planet Uranus, currently transiting the sign of Gemini, and as the New Moon comes to connect with Uranus, we will see that our visions and dreams take a turn for the better! Uranus can be unpredictable, but that doesn't mean we need to worry. Understand that we have the power to call positivity into our lives. Our choices will make an impact and push us to take the road less traveled.

So embrace this new opportunity with open arms and feel the Hekatean energy flow ๐Ÿ’ซโœจ

Life is an Eternal Lunar Phase ...

Welcome to my magickal world; a little sacred space in time where you are able to just be or learn to become your authentic self. And for some, a place of sanctuary, where you can be a part of a group of like minded souls, all on a personal journey of enlightenment and where you can safely ask questions and look for answers.

My journey began during early childhood; always feeling slightly different and at odds with the world but never understanding why.

We are all on a journey and for each of us, that journey is unique and never ends. I do not profess to be all knowing and I have no ego to prove. Just like you perhaps, my journey ebbs and flows... I am extremely eclectic in my crafts and what I practice both here at the studio or online for the world to see. Hedge Witch, Eclectic Witch, Crystal & Spiritual Therapist, Spiritual Coach, Medium, Clairsentient .... I have a story that I can share from each as to how and where I have become more authentic to myself over the years.

I will always ensure a little light shines from here outwards, to reach people who may feel lost or at odds with the world. We learn from each other and I hope that from time to time, I can help by bringing a few words of comfort when you feel lost.
