It is that time of year where many people of all ages, feel the lure of the unknown, the wish for adrenaline fuelled excitement ~ brought about by either singular or group activities focusing upon spiritual communication.

Of course this is my world, and I embrace many forms of spiritual communication… but I do so protected, with knowledge and a deep reverence and understanding of all vibrations - both light and dark.

I have come into contact with and met so many individuals over the years who have dabbled in areas of spiritual communication, not understanding the potential dangers by exposing yourself and others to unknown and unseen forces.

Unless you have an understanding of what you are doing, or trust the person hosting the communication or experience, please don’t enter into any form of spiritual connection or contact and if you’re unsure, don’t be afraid to ask the question either.

Yes spirit communication can be beautiful, exciting, peaceful, funny, happy, sad, joyful, exhilarating, adrenaline fuelled and sometimes a little scary - BUT it is through the power of words, intent, spiritual protection, love, respect, honour and by petition that as a spiritual conduit we make a space safe for all to enjoy the opportunity and experience.

When you don’t protect the energy and portal/s being opened - you allow a free for all which means anyone and anything….

So just like a warning to all those who might be going to a firework display or using sparklers 🧨 always ensure you are safe and fully protected! The sparkler might look like fun and pretty - but if held incorrectly it will burn through your skin and cause long lasting scars!!! The same applies when meddling with spirit when you don’t fully understand or appreciate the consequences of yours or others actions.

And yes 🙌🏼 I’ve been there as a 13 year old making my own Ouija board with girlfriends and I’ve not fully understood the consequences of those actions. But life and experience teaches you many things - and whilst I practice all manner of things, I also know that being incredibly careful and respectful and wise carries a huge amount of weight.

So if you’ve young adults or children of an age who are curious - educate them…. If you or you know of anyone attending an event (except mine of course 🤪🤣) just maybe share a few cautionary words from this post perhaps.

I am sure most of you here or who read this know exactly what to do and what not to do and best practices, BUT if just one person reads this and then questions or can self reflect - that’s fabulous x

There are many many ways we can protect our energy - and I think therein will be a Spiritual Development Workshop in the making ~ just wish I’d thought of this sooner instead of for the new year. BUT it’ll make a huge difference to many people who wish to experience spiritual growth but not sure where to start!

Today the moon sits in Cancer which is quite ironic given that Cancerians ruling planet is the moon!

It is also the Third Quarter Moon today (or last quarter) which spiritually signifies a time for release, reflection, and forgiveness as the lunar cycle nears its end and moves us closer to the next cycle of the New Moon.

This is an opportune moment to let go of old habits, beliefs, and negativity to prepare for a new beginning during the subsequent new moon. This phase encourages physical and emotional cleansing, self-care, and surrendering that which no longer serves you.

A Magickal pairing just about to unfold, and whilst they’ll look close, in fact they’re some 390 million miles apart 👀 but in terms of space, that’s still pretty impressive ✨💫

Jupiter is a planet symbolising growth, expansion, good fortune, and abundance as well as being associated with wisdom and philosophy.

The pairing of the two is seen as a source of luck, protection, and opportunity for personal and spiritual development so it’s worthwhile tapping into this wonderful energy tomorrow ✨

Jupiter, is referred to as the “Great Benefactor” in astrology, and represents expansion, growth, and abundance. The influence brings in optimism, wisdom, and opportunity for growth. The Moon, symbolises emotions, intuition, and the subconscious mind. When these two luminaries come together in conjunction, there is a blending of their energies, potentially amplifying their respective qualities.

Chanting mantras for Jupiter ("Om Guruve Namah") and the Moon ("Om Chandraya Namah") can help align your energy with this beneficial conjunction…

When you truly awaken, you begin to notice the small things, the signs, synchronicities. You feel things more deeply, you sense the seasons change, you hear the birds and the leaves talking within the trees. You feel compelled to look up to the sky, to talk to the trees, to walk barefoot ~ to sit in silence, to be alone and away from the chaos and madding crowds.

This is our natural flow, our natural rhythm, our natural connection to source.

The old ways were hard, but in the acceleration of inventions - all to make life easier, humanity has lost sight of what makes us human and humane.

We’ve evolved without paying attention to our natural rhythms ~ but it’s never too late to change.

Take time, small changes to your daily routine - to consciously pause, listen, notice…
