With the combined energies of the 1st February, Imbolc, the Goddess Brigid and the Full Moon in Leo, I am so excited to open the bookings for the first of this year's Spiritual Development Days!

Whether you are looking to find and interact with likeminded spiritual souls; increase your knowledge and awareness of all things ethereal, spiritual, magickal, metaphysical and supernatural ~ these workshops are designed with you in mind.

Are you ready & prepared for this weekend’s Full Moon. Natures magical correspondences will vary slightly in the Northern and Southern Hemisphere, but it’s a time for release and tending to the Fire that Imbolc also brings this weekend too…

I’m definitely embracing this Full Moon and ready to engage, as I’ve been so very unwell - and for the first time in 10 years, having had to cancel an event due to ill health which has saddened me greatly! So to release all negative and low vibes attached to this past week (and month) is much needed!

And that’s just one reason why embracing lunar cycles and the turning of the wheel helps us to rebalance and strengthen our relationship with ourselves and spirit.

Our ancestors relied on community and communication…. The sky, nature, hunting stories, folklore - these were the books, phones and television of our ancestors. Sharing knowledge and stories was so important - and this is something society is definitely losing which is why I’m so passionate about bringing people together.

Whilst I’m recovering, I’m definitely reflecting and spending time on self love.

I have been a little remiss in sharing onwards the fabulous photography of Stonehenge - and this was taken 5 days ago within the glow of the magical aurora reaching much of the UK. Nick Bull is an incredible photographer and am incredibly grateful for his amazing work 📸

This coming weekend sees the turning of the wheel… A fabulous fire festival to celebrate the longer days and the first stirrings of new growth. A time of fertility and transformation, where setting intentions as we move towards the Equinox guides our natural rhythm and flow.

Whilst the Celtic festival of Imbolc is centuries old, it also weaves (as most pagan traditions do) with the Christian tradition celebrating St Brigid.

It’s a time for reflection, for nurturing and cleansing - preparing for the adventures of honouring the divine within and nature’s beauty, Gaia 🌿🌱✨

So this week is a week of preparation, of cleansing my home, replenishing my altar and making ready the space for this weekend’s Imbolc Gathering.

Sending out love and healing energies to all those in need x

Using moon water to infuse your tea is a fabulous way to increase the potency of your intention. Entirely your preference as to the moon phase, but each will have a different impact.

Put simply ☕️

Full Moon = Release
New Moon = New Beginnings / Transformation
Waxing Moon = Manifesting
Waning Moon = Cleansing & Healing

Corresponding ingredients that you use in your tea can be just as powerful !

☕️ I have always found mugwort to be an opener to spiritual portals…. and we generally drink mugwort at most of my spiritual circles for this very reason ahead of meditation.

Spiritually, mugwort is often used for enhancing dreams (lucid and prophetic), protection against negative energies, divination, cleansing spaces (smudging), connecting with the divine feminine and lunar cycles, and aiding spiritual journeys like astral projection, often by promoting vivid states and intuition.

Drinking teas, soaked in baths, or used within a dream pillow are all fabulous ways of utilising this amazing plant 🌱

I tend to gather mugwort end of Spring into the Summer months and where I know it grows, I also tend to pick under the Full Moon for added potency ✨💫. I dry out and can then use throughout the autumn and winter months as I also use to burn as offerings as well as protection.
