Aren't spirit amazing at sending signs.

This morning I was having a moment, missing my dad( it's that time of year ) had a few tears,decided to take the dog round the farmers field before first light , clear my head , have a cry, and be thankful

I come home, sort the dog his breakfast, go to the loo come back out and this beautiful hawk was just sitting there watching me, watching him/her.

I do live in the country so we do see alot of hawks and kites. But they've never in the 4 years I've lived here have any of them got that close to my window

Safe to say seeing him/her brought tears to my eyes. But these tears were different. I said goodmorning dad, he/she let me take its photo looked at me and flew off.

My dad was a gamekeeper and avid huntsman. We often saw these birds when out with him on the beat or over the farm.
You'd have a quick lesson on their anatomy and look in awe as they do their thing.
They are such majestic birds, to get close to one is such a privilege

Safe to say I felt my dad with me this morning.

Just beautiful being out with the dog in the mornings, listening to the birds sing their early morning song, the sun rising 🌄 bringing some warmth,stunning clear skies, the butterfly's 🦋 fluttering round the hedgerows
