Sometimes the little jobs can build up and overwhelm us. Unopened letters, emails that you haven't replied or unsubscribed to, birthdays, family events, general home or office organisation. You might need a one off visit to help you get back on top, an odd job or two completed so you don't fall behind, or regular help to keep things running smoothly.

It’s coming upto 3 years since my last house move, so figured it was about time I move again, seeing as I’m now such a pro!

I’ll be posting useful tips on here for packing/unpacking and decluttering as I go along.

Is it sad I’m excited about getting to reorganise everything I own again? 😂

Getting the kids out the door on time for the school run can be a challenge. To prevent things getting lost and to help with your children's independence, try keeping their things at their height, and keep storage simple.

I find small shoes often fall through gaps of shoe racks, and that kids rarely put their shoes neatly, so a shoe box/basket is a good solution for the shoes that are used most often.

If you're lucky enough to have a Harry Potter cupboard, don't forget you can use the back of the cupboard door to hang lunch bags at a child friendly height.

IKEA sell lots of lovely coat hooks for children. I love these dog tail ones, their quite reasonable too.

Having a clear hallway literally helps you leave and enter your home smoothly, it's also more welcoming too. I am finally beginning to update my Website, and dabble in the world of Blogging. I have come to the conclusion I have Bloggers Fog, and Web Designers Block. But my photo, my email and phone number are now all on there... progress!

Whilst being organised and tidy come naturally to me, I.T does not, and so perhaps creating my own website feels a little like decluttering does to others?

A mass of stuff, which I know how I want it to look and function in my mind, but have as yet not a clue how to make that a reality. There is so much to choose from, so many things to distract me. The internet is clutter in Cyberspace, which like the universe just keeps getting bigger and bigger - too big to imagine! (My head hurts now), which leaves me with this thought, before I head to bed....Who declutters the internet?

So I took one of those personality tests on Facebook.

Funnily enough 'Orderliness" scored very highly, along with "Complexity". Which seems to translate as I'm so organised, I'm ready for anything?

On reflection it does seem accurate...does anyone who knows me care to comment?

My photography isn't up to much, but I am loving my revamped utility area. One day I might have a whole room, although one thing I've noticed is that if you have more room to store dirty laundry etc... you tend to fill it, just because you've allowed more capacity to, this can leave you with a laundry basket you never quite get to the bottom of.

Keeping laundry bins and other temporary storage areas small, forces you to keep on top of things frequently. Keeping these things on show isn't necessarily a bad thing either, as there's no 'out of sight out of mind' mentality happening.

Talking of which, my mailbox is full, time to do some filing.
