Whether you are looking for short-term respite or convalescent care, or a new place to call home, Featherton House offers a warm and welcoming environment in the village of Deddington near Banbury. Set in a characterful Georgian building that dates back to the 1830s, Featherton House has retained its historical charm and many of its original features. Our pretty cottage garden is a colourful scene of wildflowers in the warmer months, with plenty of seating areas and shade from our old apple tree. With a dedicated team of highly-trained care professionals, we strive to deliver a high standard of care with a personal touch. Our doors are always open to your friends and family, with drinks and snacks available upon request. Our chefs prepare delicious home-cooked meals, using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. Menus are full of nutritious options and can be adapted to all tastes and dietary requirements. We believe that our residents should lead meaningful lives, and will help you to participate in the local community. Through our activities programme, we offer many opportunities for you to pursue existing interests, find new things to enjoy and to engage with local groups and organisations. We absolutely love when Lucia brings all her friends in to see us all , the look on their faces is just amazing. Today was a special day as she brought coco and her little baby puppy Rio with her , the most precious little ball of joy and happiness. Derek was absolutely thrilled when I took rio in for a visit and he gave him a kiss , another kiss was given by Frank to the tortoise 🐢 dusty. Pauline was also happy to see dusty as she used to own her own tortoise.
