If you require a same-day appointment, you no longer need to call the practice. Please submit a request ONLINE via the "Advice & Appointments Hub" (formally "Patient Triage") on our website or via your NHS App. We advise you complete this as early as possible. Please ensure you can be contacted easily and are available to come to the surgery the same day if an appointment is offered. Same-day appointments are booked in time order so there is very little flexibility on timing.

The Surgery and Dispensary (including our online services) will be closed on Thursday 4th December from 1.00 pm for essential staff training.
We will re-open Friday 5th December from 8.00 am.

Message from Dr Speight
I will be leaving Deddington Health Centre at the end of this month, with my last working day on the 23rd. My family and I are moving away from the area. It has been a privilege to care for our patients and be part of this community. I wish you all the very best and leave you in the excellent hands of the Deddington Health Centre team.

EARLS LANE - no through Traffic

Earls Lane will be partially closed from 20th October 2025 (likely until January 2026) for Water Mains work.
Please ensure you allow adequate time to accommodate possible delays when attending an appointment.

PRACTICE CLOSURE AFTERNOON - WEDNESDAY 24TH SEPTEMBER

Upcoming Practice Closure Afternoon

On Tuesday 17th June, Deddington Health centre and Dispensary will be closed from 1pm for GP and Staff training.

For all on the day health needs during this time visit NHS 111 online or call 111, or in an emergency call 999.
The health centre and Dispensary will re-open on Wednesday 18th June for our normal working hours.

After 22 years as a partner at Deddington Health Centre, Dr Mike D'Souza will be retiring at the end of July and heading to sunnier climes on the South Coast. Mike has worked tirelessly for his patients and colleagues over the years and we're sure you'll want to join us in thanking him for all his hard work and and wish him all the best for the future. He plans to continue doing some clinical and management work for the practice so you may still see his name pop up from time to time!
