📢 Important Practice Update – EPS Go Live

Our practice will be going live with the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) on Wednesday 6th May.

Due to essential IT system changes and staff training, we will be operating with reduced clinic capacity on this day.

➡️ Our phone lines and practice doors will remain open as usual for:

Urgent dispensary services
Urgent GP appointments

We kindly ask that you only contact or attend the practice if your need is urgent, or if you have a pre-arranged appointment with a member of the team.

💊 Where possible, please collect your medication on Tuesday 5th May or Thursday 7th May.

⚠️ Important Patient Update / Diweddariad Pwysig i Gleifion ⚠️

ENGLISH
A small number of our patients have received an invitation for a COVID-19 vaccination in error, despite not being eligible for the Spring Booster campaign.

We are currently contacting all affected patients via text message 📱, phone call ☎️, or letter ✉️ to inform them.

Please note that only patients aged 75 or over on or before 30th June 2026 are eligible for the Spring Booster.

We apologise for any confusion this may have caused.

If you have already booked an appointment and are not eligible, your appointment will be automatically cancelled ❌. You do not need to take any further action.

EPS goes live Wed 6 May 2026 at Bronyffynnon Surgery for non-dispensing patients.
Bydd EPS yn dechrau Dydd Mercher 6 Mai 2026 i gleifion nad ydynt yn cael meddyginiaeth o’r feddygfa.

✔️ Prescriptions sent direct to pharmacy / Presgripsiynau’n mynd yn uniongyrchol i’r fferyllfa
✔️ No paper needed / Dim papur

From 6 May you may need to choose a pharmacy.
O 6 Mai efallai y bydd angen dewis fferyllfa.

ℹ️ No change for dispensing patients / Dim newid i gleifion sy’n derbyn o’r feddygfa.

We are now taking bookings for the Spring COVID-19 booster and RSV vaccinations (for eligible patients only).

If you are eligible to be vaccinated at the surgery, you will receive a letter in the post with further details.

To book, please contact the surgery on 01745 814422 or drop in to speak to our reception team.

If you are housebound, please let us know and we will inform the Health Board team so they can arrange a visit.

Please see the guidance below regarding the recent Meningitis B outbreak and vaccine eligibility. We kindly ask that you do not contact the surgery to enquire about the Meningitis B vaccine at this time. We will keep you updated as the situation develops.

We know young people, parents and families in North Wales are concerned following the outbreak of meningitis in Kent.

We encourage parents and young people to familiarise themselves with symptoms of meningitis and sepsis, and to ensure they are up to date with recommended childhood vaccinations.

📢 Branch Surgery Closure – 2 April 2026

Due to a shortage of staff, our branch surgery will be closed on Thursday 2 April 2026.

There will be no GP available and no staff on site, so prescription collections will not be possible on this day.

Please collect any prescriptions in advance or contact the main surgery if you require assistance.
