What a fantastic evening last night was for all our school leavers this year, a fantastic performance from our school band as well as our staff choir. We wish all our leavers the best on their new adventures! Good luck everyone and remember, be the best YOU can be!

Ty’r Ysgol went to visit Moel fammau donkeys at Christmas and learnt all about the donkeys, how to groom them, feed them and about their different personalities. We decided that we would like to adopt one of the donkeys so the pupils created Cafe Blasus where they made bacon baps and hotdogs to sell. We raised the funds and have adopted Nansi. We were so very lucky that Nansi and her best friend Rosie came to visit us at school this week, everyone loved them. We have now decided to adopt Rosie as they are best friends. Many thanks to Moel Fammau donkeys for such a wonderful experience.

Occupational Therapist Ellie Davies Moore combines her love of music and working with children with by writing songs to help them! 💛🎤

With her band Dolly and the Clothespegs, Ellie has recently recorded 3 songs:

🎵 Joe’s Song – a song about a boy with sensory processing differences
🫶 Breathe the Day Away (Wind Down with Donkey) – a calming song for children who feel overstimulated, anxious or stressed
☀️ Woke Us to Focus – a lively tune to help with regulation and waking up the senses

Ysgol Plas Brondyffryn pupil Dylan Hodgson represented the school and the Welsh Women Peace Petition by walking through the street of Llangollen. On Wednesday, July 9th 2025 Dylan held the banner with pride in the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod parade. Many of our pupils were involved in the making and sewing of the peace banner. The banner was displayed in the Dory gallery for a six week period, exhibited in the Temple of Peace in Cardiff and recently in Corwen Museum.
