This weekend I had the pleasure of providing post event soft tissue treatments to the athletes taking part in Abersoch Triathlon. The 5 hour round trip was worth it to see the hard work and determination put in by the people taking part! 🙌🏼🏃‍♂️🏊‍♂️🚲

Meet Ruby - our new admin assistant!!

I’m so excited to introduce Ruby, the newest member of the Evolve team - and yes, she’s also my sister! Ruby will be taking over all things admin, including booking your appointments, answering your messages, and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

She’s really friendly, organised, and passionate about helping people. In her spare time, she loves to care for her 2 horses, Alfie and Raisin, and she loves taking our family dog, Thor, on walks.

IS YOUR THERAPIST USING MUSCLE SCRAPING CORRECTLY? 🫣

Recently I’ve seen so many therapists creating results like these and promoting a ‘quick fix’ option for musculoskeletal conditions. The excessive redness and inflammation you see in these photos is literally severe microtrauma to the tissues under the skin. Whilst some redness is normal and the aim is to create some level of microtrauma… this is just unnecessary and causes pain and bruising for up to a week post treatment!!!

Let this be your sign that a good therapist will ALWAYS work with a pressure that is comfortable for you… being in pain during treatment does not equal better results.

If anyone has any questions about any treatments / services I offer and are put off by seeing results like this online… please give me a message and I’d be happy to explain how muscle scraping can be used to treat spot areas and how to get the best out of the treatment!
