Friday Round-Up

đź’š We started off a high note attending the OVS event, where my daughter was a guest speaker. Watching her up there was absolutely fantastic & she completely blew me away.

🧡 From Monday, I will be taking my own advice and focusing on my own goals too. (Hence the new kettle bell) I’ll be working with in the Fit Female Collective, and I’m genuinely excited to get stuck in. We coaches also need coaches.

đź’š We also had a short overnight trip to Norfolk, which has been such a lovely break.

🧡You're aiming for 2 L a day and ideally that can be water but also herbal tea's and coconut water.
đź’šYou can drink tea and coffees so go for a green or black tea, Roobis tea and good quality coffee.
🧡More than 4 cups of these drinks a day will affect your fluid balance in an adverse way and it goes without saying that anything that's caffeinated. Try not to drink then after mid afternoon because this can affect your sleep.

🍽️ No more “What’s for dinner?” panic at 5pm

It's hydration day today

Just a little note about what are the best drinks to take for your health and to maximise the processes in your body

Water
Green and black tea
Roobis
Herbal tea
Coconut water

Aim for about 2 L a day
Don't forget that food also contains food

Tea is great but try not to go for more than 4 cups a day and don't forget the caffeine so don't drink coffee after mid afternoon if you want a good night fluid

WELCOME TO THE HUB

The Lime Tree Wellness Hub was set up in 2018

It was originally a personal blog just in a different page and a way of communicating with the outside world after finishing a career in mental health nursing. The aim of the page was pretty much to write a blog about life and how everyday stuff impacts on our body and mind.. it was about people, things, food and healthy living. I also set up a coffee group with some like minded people wanting to chat about everyday things and our food choices. This also included a coffee morning and health walking.

I’m taking an exciting step in my direction of travel and hopefully of yours. This page and my website (to be launched in July 2020).

These page and the website are going to filled with content which will hopefully make our lives fuller, give us insights and hope. They educate and inform us and It would be great if they could give us a feeling that we can do anything. I hope they will be a good read, beautiful to look at, they will be food for thought and above everything you will want to share them and keep coming back.
