Today, we celebrate girls everywhere - their voices, their dreams, their leadership. 💪🏽✨

This year’s theme, “The girl I am, the change I lead,” reminds us that girls around the world are not just victims of crisis; they are leaders, innovators and changemakers on the frontlines. 🌎💖

For me, this day holds deep meaning. Everything I’ve built Gift Wellness, the Gift Wellness Foundation and the Halimah Trust. Started because of one girl: my daughter Halimah, who was tragically murdered at 19.

In her name, we’ve educated over 1,100 girls at the Halimah School & College in Pakistan and distributed millions of menstrual products to girls and women in crisis, from UK schools to refugee camps. 🌺

We must end the way women and girls are used as weapons of war, and create a world where every girl can learn, lead and thrive. 💗
