I'm very lucky to be living in the Derbyshire Dales atm, I get up early and go out as the sun rises to look after the horses. The spider webs remind me of the incredible beauty of nature and it's a great additional to my morning spiritual practice, helping to remind me that everything is as it should be. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ•ท๐Ÿ•ธโ˜€

If you'd asked me what my purpose was 6 years ago, I would have said getting an impressive sounding job title, more money and a boyfriend - but even I would have been self-aware enough to realise this probably didn't count as a purpose. ๐Ÿ˜†

After burning out and accepting I had ME/CFS, I was forced to reassess what was important to me. Now, I am committed to improving my physical, mental and emotional health through diet, lifestyle and mindfulness. In doing so, I hope to inspire others to make changes in their lives, that give them improved health, more energy and a sense of calm, so they can spend time doing the things they love.

Spoonies refers to those who use pacing as a route to recovery from chronic illness. Julie's group coaching was key to my recovery - helping me bring acceptance and trust to my situation - starting me on my journey of self-healing and finding purpose despite chronic illness.

"Modern life is stuck on a treadmill and its pace exceeds human limits. What would it look like to step off?"

Slowing down can feel impossible, but the gift of chronic illness, such as ME/CFS, means we have to. I learnt how to let go of many things I thought I needed for happiness and found purpose and peace in a very different way.

Hopefully I'll spend the rest of my life ambling my way to wisdom...

A brilliant article, showing how mental health issues such as anxiety give us the opportunity create healthy routines which support life long personal growth. It's the same for physical health too, if I hadn't got so ill, I would never have learnt how to truly look after my body ๐Ÿ™

I hadn't exercised for years due to the pain caused by my hypermobility and ME/fibromyalgia. I started Beccy's classes on the advice of my physio as I began recover. I'm lifting weights for the first time in my life, very important for women as we get older to keep our bones strong. The classes are so fun and friendly :)

โ€˜Itโ€™s like therapy!โ€™ As one client said this morning ๐Ÿ˜ƒCome and try Small Group Training outside on the farmโ€ฆ youโ€™ll work hard but youโ€™ll also get to meet some lovely people, have a good laugh and get anything and everything off your chest! Plus next week looks sunny - yay!
