We were delighted to have been asked by Greener Littleover to take part in this community initiative to place poppies in Littleover for remembrance of sacrifices made and countless lives lost. Our residents were honoured to be included in this act of remembrance. 🌺

Honouring Remembrance Together

This week, we had the privilege of delivering poppies to Heatherton House Care Home and Derby Heights Care Home - Avery Healthcare, enabling their residents to take part in the community-wide display of poppies in Heatherton.

For many, this is more than a tradition—it’s a deeply personal act of remembrance. Residents proudly placed poppies in honour of loved ones who served before them, and in solidarity with those who continue to serve today. Their stories, memories, and quiet reflections remind us why we remember.

It was moving to see generations come together in tribute—each poppy a symbol of courage, sacrifice, and enduring gratitude.

💙Alice Court Take Fundraising to New Heights for International Animal Rescue 💙

In celebration of World Animal Day, General Manager, Michelle Love-Patel, from Alice Court Care Home - Avery Collection, is preparing for the ultimate challenge - abseiling off the stunning Peacehaven Cliffs.

Michelle is taking on this daring feat to raise money and awareness for International Animal Rescue, a charity dedicated to protecting animals in need across the globe. 🐒

“This is such an important cause,” said Michelle. “I’m thrilled to be able to take part in something that not only pushes me out of my comfort zone but also supports vulnerable animals who desperately need our help.”
