We’re incredibly proud to have been part of the Executive Hire Show since day one in 2007 – it’s a huge part of our year and always a fantastic opportunity to catch up with so many people across the hire sector.

20 Years of the Executive Hire Show and Altrad Belle have been present at every one of them!

We're looking forward to celebrating that huge milestone in 2027....we had our first planning meeting today and we're very excited for what will be a special show!

Executive Hire Show unveils new look ahead of 20th anniversary in 2027 👇

The Executive Hire Show has revealed a refreshed brand identity as it begins the countdown to its 20th anniversary, which will take place on 10–11 February 2027.

Since its launch, the Executive Hire Show has grown into the UK’s leading event for the hire industry, bringing together suppliers, manufacturers and hire companies for two days of business, networking and practical conversations. With the 20th anniversary now in sight, the organisers feel as though it is the right time to update how the show looks and presents itself.

The new look will be rolled out across the Executive Hire Show website, marketing and on-site materials over the coming months, providing the event with a clearer, more confident identity that reflects where the show is today, alongside where it is heading next.

Chris Moore, Publishing and Event Director, said: “The Executive Hire Show has earned its place as the UK’s leading hire event and that’s something we’re really proud of. As we look ahead to the 20th anniversary in 2027, it felt like the right time to refresh the Show's look to reflect the scale and quality of the event today. We are seeking a talented and motivated Design Engineer to join our growing Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge equipment, from concept through to production.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀
• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for light construction equipment.
• Produce detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD software.
• Support prototype development, testing, and validation activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, and quality.
• Ensure designs meet relevant safety, regulatory, and performance standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in product design and manufacturing efficiency.

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀
• Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline qualifications.
• Proven experience in a design engineering role (ideally within manufacturing or construction equipment)
• Proficiency in CAD software, e.g. SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical principles.
• Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

We are delighted to share that Adrian Watts, Managing Director of Huws Gray Plant & Tool Hire – the National Hire Division of Huws Gray Builders Merchants – secured the highest bid of £2,000 for our DC 300E+ Saw Package at the Executive Hire Show charity auction.

We were proud to donate the prize of DC 300E+ battery powered saw, 2 x 8Ah batteries, battery charger and storage case, with all auction proceeds going to support Prostate Cancer UK – the chosen charity of this year’s show. A fantastic effort all round for a truly important cause.

One of the products that we have launched at this years Executive Hire Show today is the BMD 300E+ battery powered minidumper, that was included the the EHS Innovation Trail.

A huge thank you to Ermin Plant & Tool Hire for being the first to purchase our brand-new innovative minidumper. They were also the first company to purchase our MBX 08/120E+ battery powered mini bowser pressure washer at last years show.

We appreciate your support and your confidence in our E+ battery technology and can’t wait to see the minidumper in action.
