As the year comes to a close, we reflect with gratitude on everything achieved at J.D.T. Music Academy this year. From celebrating our students’ successes, to welcoming new students and teammates into the JDT family, it’s been a year of growth, community, and pride. The continued renovations and our new reception area have been exciting milestones along the way, and there's so much more to come.

Next year marks our 25 years Anniversary, a milestone we’re incredibly proud of — with many exciting plans ahead. Thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey.

We had so much fun at our inclusive Diamond Disco christmas party tonight!! Even Santa stopped by to say hello!! Great to see so many happy faces and awesome dance moves. See you for our next one in January 2026 🕺

We had an incredible day at our annual Christmas Showcase on Saturday. 45 students, from age 6 to 60, took to the stage to share the hard work they’ve been putting in over the past few months. For some, it was their very first performance, while others have been shining in this event for over a decade — and we are proud of every single one of them!!

A special mention goes to Sam Daines, who has been a drum student with us for more than 10 years. We’ve put together a throwback video with moments of Sam, aged 6, from our 2015 Christmas Showcase alongside footage from this weekend — a wonderful reminder of just how far he’s come. We wish Sam the best of luck with his Level 3 Music Performance Diploma at Access Creative College!

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, supported, and cheered on the students. And an extra special thank you to our dedicated team, who generously give their time to ensure the showcase runs smoothly and to support their students throughout the day. We’re incredibly grateful for everything you do.

We’ve already raised over £600 from the event for our BigBuild (final total coming soon!) and raffle tickets are still on sale throughout next week. The draw will take place on Friday 19th December — don’t miss out!
