Yes you can do anything you want to do!

This is your Sunday night reminder that yes you can do whatever it is you keep telling yourself you can’t do because you think you’re not good enough, or you’re not ready, or it’s not the right time.

Yes you can do it now, start this week and if you need someone to support you and believe in you then please contact me.

Too many people are holding themselves back from doing what they really want to do in life, don’t let that be you.

Yes you can do anything you want to do!

I can and I will!

There were so many times during my training and on half marathon day that I wanted to stop and give up.

Conditions were never ideal, one injury led to another injury, I didn’t feel that I had done enough, I didn’t feel ready and I was continually comparing myself to last year.

But I’m not the same person as I was last year, my journey this year was different, it was about helping me to navigate grief.

Grief never leaves us, we carry it with us every single day and some days the weight of grief is heavier than others.

Last Sunday I was excited, nervous and extremely emotional and whilst I loved every second of the event I felt I was continually battling against myself to keep going.

‘I can and I will’ are the words that got me through it.

I was so proud of myself crossing the finishing line, however, what I am most proud of is my entire journey in getting to the finishing line, every single high and low point.

Hard times don’t break you, they shape you. If you choose to learn from them, they turn into your greatest strength instead of just pain.

Life isn’t about avoiding struggles it’s about growing through them. So embrace every lesson and let every one make you stronger, wiser and more resilient.

If you are currently navigating a difficult situation and you would like help moving forward please connect with me.

Sunday will be one of toughest runs I will experience mentally, physically and emotionally.

Signing up to complete this year’s London Landmarks Half Marathon has been part of a very personal journey for me and the significance of Sunday will be at the forefront of my mind.

Completing a marathon or half marathon isn’t always about getting a PB.

So whatever your reason for completing a marathon or half marathon, well done you are amazing!

In 10 days I will be completing the London Landmarks Half Marathon to raise money for Foyle Hospice.

It is just over 20 years ago since I first started fundraising for Foyle Hospice and it is a Charity which has become very close to my heart.

I have witnessed first hand the amazing work Foyle Hospice do in caring for and supporting families in the most difficult and saddest of times.

If you would like to help me to raise funds for Foyle Hospice you can donate through my Just Giving page and every donation will be really appreciated.

Every penny of your donation will go to Foyle Hospice. All associated costs with participating in the event will be paid for personally by me.

Thank you for your support.

Together we care.

March update - 2026 Challenge to have a minimum of 15 minutes active movement outdoors in nature every day.

Exercise is definitely my most effective form of Self care however after hurting my leg a few weeks ago I haven’t been able to do as much active exercise as I would of liked. I have been trying to rest my leg as much as possible in preparation for the Half Marathon on the 12th April.

Walking is fine so thankfully I have been able to keep up my 15 minutes every day.

Keeping a log each day is definitely keeping me accountable!

End of another month!

How good are you at taking on new challenges and experiences?

30/03/2026

Remember comparison is the thief of all joy!

It doesn’t matter how fast other people can run or how quickly they can complete a race, that’s their journey.

If you would like to start running get your trainers on and take that first step and focus only on your own journey and not anyone else’s.

Enjoy! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
