– Bibliotherapy, Literature and Mental Health.

– Fundamentals of Family Theory.

– Working with Young People – Anxiety, low mood and body image; Resilience.

– Safe guarding and Child Protection training.

– Professional training in the applied use of Mindfulness for 12-18-year olds

– Significant experience delivering workshops and programmes in Mindfulness and mindset.

– 20 years of experience working with children and young people (up to the age of 19) in an educational and pastoral capacity.

– Almost two years of experience as a volunteer counsellor for Children and Young People.

– BACP/ OU course in online and telephone counselling.

– Sand Tray Therapy Training (CPCAB endorsed).

- Working with Young People (Outcomes listed in Counselling Young People in the BACP Training Curriculum).

- BPS Approved Certificate and Accreditation in CBT for Working with Adolescents, Level 1.

- Member of Creative Counsellors' Directory.

- Member of the NCPS Children and Young People Therapist register.

- MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy Practice.

Our vision is that no one feels like su***de is their only option. But when you’re struggling, you often can’t see a way forward.

But we know there’s always a reason to stay. And everyone can play their part in preventing su***de.

We would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone of the help and support available via Trust services (children and adults) following the following the recent events which occurred in Maguiresbridge:

Children & Young People
For Parents/carers who would like advice with regards to how to support their child/young person a helpline is available. Parents/carers can access this by calling 07760997075 between 9am and 1pm from 28/07/2025 - 02/08/2025. Your name and number will be taken and a member of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service will return your call.

If parents/carers have immediate concerns regarding their child/young person’s emotional health and wellbeing or safety please make direct contact with your GP or Out of Hours Services/A&E.

Adults
Adult Mental Health Services help line is available for any adult who feels they need support. The help line can be contacted on (028) 82833287 from Wednesday, 30 July 2025 to Friday, 1 August 2025 from 9am – 4pm.
