Western Health and Social Care Trust has launched a new Dementia Wristband Initiative for those with a dementia diagnosis to wear. It contains a QR code with their families/carers contact details. The band states "I have dementia, scan the QR code with your phone if I need help", all codes are individual and linked to their website. As well as giving peace of mind to loved ones, the bands will help those living with dementia to remain active, raise awareness and reduce the risks when out and about. Dear valued Shopmobility member,

Important Update: Closure of the Shopmobility Foyle Unit at Foyleside Shopping Centre.

I am writing to inform you of an unexpected change in our operations. We were given notice to vacate our unit by the 17th January due to renovation works.

We regret any inconvenience this may cause our valued customers who rely on our wheelchair and mobility services to help you get out and about.

Please accept our sincerest apologies for the disruption this may cause to your visits and plans.
We will continue to meet your mobility needs from the Bridge Accessible Transport office in the short term until we have alternative premises.
