Suddenly but peacefully at Causeway Hospital Rae R.I.P. beloved wife of Brian; loving mother of Oggy and Kelly; dear mother-in-law of Shonagh and David and much adored Granny of Jamie, Alisha, Cassie and Conn.

A private prayer service will take place in the family home on Friday 27th March 2026 followed by interment in St. Maryโ€™s Cemetery, Ballerin.

The entire family circle of the late Marian R.I.P. wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement.

Thanks to the staff of the Causeway Hospital for the care given to Marian and kindness to the family.

A special thanks to Fr Patsy Mullholland P.P. for his spiritual support, guidance, pastoral care and for celebrating the Requiem Mass and Fr McCaughan for his prayers in the Hospital and Canon Daly and Fr Barney for their prayers in the family home.

Thanks to the Gribbin Girls for the beautiful music; the church sacristan Sonya, the Millenium Centre for use of their facilities and the staff of the Millenium Centre for providing refreshments after the funeral, and Wishy Drain who prepared the grave.

The family wish to especially thank the kind relatives, friends, neighbours and members of the wider community who helped them during this difficult time. The family of the late Kathleen Tohill R.I.P would like to express their sincere thanks to all those who supported them during their recent sad bereavement. Kathleen was a devoted, kind and adored wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many, she will be sorely missed. Her memory will live on in our hearts forever.

We deeply appreciate the kindness of friends, neighbours and extended family as well as those who travelled to be with us, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, sent donations, floral tributes and messages of support, or provided food and refreshments.

A special thanks to Fr. John Gates for his spiritual support to Mum at all times and especially in recent months. The family wish to convey their appreciation for his tribute to her in his homily and for the manner he organised and celebrated the beautiful requiem Mass and to Father Hugh Lagan for his prayers and support.

Thanks to those who attended the funeral Mass in person or via we**am and to those who participated in the Mass.

We are sincerely grateful to her longtime home help and friend, also the team of community carers who provided companionship, nursing care, commitment and support to mum over the past few years. We would also like to thank the doctors and staff of Diamond Medical Centre, the District Nurses, Marie Curie and McGlaughlinโ€™s Pharmacy who helped care for her with compassion and dignity throughout her illness.

The family would also like to express their gratitude to McKiernan and Sons, Funeral Directors for the dignified, professional and compassionate manner in which they carried out and guided them through all aspects of the funeral arrangements. We are truly grateful for your personal attention.

The family of the late Rose Oโ€™Kane wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who paid their respects and offered support during their recent bereavement.

A special word of thanks to Fr Paddy Doherty and Fr Kieran Doherty for their spiritual guidance and for concelebrating the Requiem Mass. Also, to Fr Chris Mc Dermott, and to Fr Charles Keaney PP for his many pastoral visits to Rose at the family home over the years, we extend our heartfelt thanks.

Bronagh and Caitlin deserve much appreciation for the beautiful music and singing which contributed so meaningfully to the celebration of their motherโ€™s Funeral Mass. We offer special recognition and heartfelt thanks to the doctors at Kilrea Health Centre as well as district nurses, based out of Maghera Health Centre, for their dedicated care and diligence throughout Roseโ€™s lifetime.

McCloyโ€™s chemist in Kilrea, also offered the Oโ€™Kane family consistent support and professional service over so many years for which we are very thankful.

The family also wish to thank their kind relatives, friends, neighbours, and members of the wider community who supported them during this difficult time. They are deeply touched by the many messages, Mass and Sympathy cards, donations, and gestures of kindness received, and are overwhelmed by the number who attended the funeral or joined via we**am.
