Jean and the family of the late Frank Oโ€™Kane R.I.P. wish to express our sincere thanks and heartfelt gratitude to all those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement.

We would like to express our appreciation and sincerest gratitude to all the doctors and nurses in Kilrea Health Centre and Shields Chemist for the exceptional care shown towards Frank. A special note of thanks to the Respiratory Nursing Teams in Antrim Area Hospital and the Mid Ulster Hospital. Thank you also to the Garvagh Community Nursing Team who cared for and treated Frank throughout his illness. Deepest gratitude to the McMillan nurses for their support and kindness.

Heartfelt thanks to Fr. Keaney P.P. for his support, continued pastoral care and for celebrating Frankโ€™s funeral Mass. We also wish to express our appreciation to the Taylor Sisters for their beautiful singing, and to Adrian Oโ€™Kane for his musical accompaniment throughout the Funeral Service. A word of gratitude to the sacristan and grave diggers also. We sincerely thank Fr Pat Oโ€™Hagan and Monsignor Dolan for kindly participating in prayer over the Wake and Funeral.

Our family wish to express that we are deeply indebted and grateful to our kind relatives, friends, neighbours and the wider community who helped us during this difficult time. Thank you to everyone who visited, sent sympathy cards, kind messages, attended the wake/funeral, or showed their support through viewing the live stream. A special word of thanks to those who provided food and to family and friends who undertook the catering and traffic arrangements during the wake. We are truly grateful.

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude for the catering from Arbutus and to Michael Davittโ€™s GAA Club for hosting the refreshments after the funeral.

We are especially grateful to McKiernan and Sons Funeral Directors, Kilrea, for the supportive, compassionate and dignified manner in which all of the wake and funeral arrangements were undertaken for us with such care, dignity and professionalism.

It is impossible to thank everyone individually. We have been overwhelmed and comforted by the kindness and support we have received. Please accept this notice as an expression of our familyโ€™s heartfelt gratitude, your support has been of a great comfort to us all.

The Monthโ€™s Mind for Frank will be celebrated on Saturday 22nd November 2025 at 4pm in St John The Baptist Church, Granaghan.
