The PHA is aware of the meningitis outbreak recently reported in South East England. The UKHSA is leading the response to the outbreak and there is no increased risk to the population in Northern Ireland. However, it is important for everyone to be aware of the signs and symptoms of meningitis and the steps to take if they are concerned. For info see www.pha.site/MeningitisKent

Cervical Screening Awareness Month

It is important thar all eligible patients attend for their Cervical screening appointment. If you are due to have your Cervical smear done or are overdue, please contact the surgery routinely to book your appointment with the practice nurse.

PATIENT ANNOUNCEMENT

The Willow Programme has been set up in conjunction with our practice Social Work team and Derry Well Women to support patients who have experienced the loss of a baby during pregnancy, at birth or shortly after.

Patients who would like to take part in this programme can contact our practice Social Worker.

We are inviting patients to express an interest in joining our Practice Participation Group (PPG). The group provides patients with the opportunity to share feedback, offer suggestions, and work with the practice to help improve our services.
