This is the wonderful Harvey 🥰. He loves a good chat with us when to comes to visit . He has been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes , only in the last few weeks . He is doing fantastic and gives himself his insulin injection with the help of Dave , his Teddy 🥰. In the early stages of diagnosis it takes time to stabilise everything - his blood sugar levels -and sometimes he has to take sugary food / drink when he gets low. His family and teachers are working hard to help him . At his examination appointment today I advised on the best way to do this to decrease the damage to his teeth . We discussed when to brush after these and applied a fluoride varnish to his teeth and we will see him again in 3 months to check the health of his mouth . When I asked permission to take his photograph he said it would be a great marketing tool to show I am a caring dentist ! 😆👌🏼❤️

We then carried out Composite Bonding on the front two teeth only.
