Due to the rapidly evolving situation regarding Coronavirus, Clarendon Dental Surgery has decided to reduce patient numbers attending the Practice in the interim period. We have taken this action to protect our patients, our staff and their families. We therefore will only see patients requiring emergency dental treatment. If you require URGENT dental treatment, please telephone the surgery on 028 71 263397. Please DO NOT ATTEND the Practice until telephone contact has taken place. If you have already booked an appointment you will be contacted for this to be rearranged for an alternative date. Patients will be kept updated as the situation evolves.

The symptoms of Coronavirus are:

• A cough
• A high temperature
• Shortness of breath

The symptoms are similar to other illnesses such as a “cold” or “flu”.

The following precautions are being undertaken to protect you, as our patients and also staff in our clinics. We are grateful for your patience and understanding.

❗️❗️❗️If you feel unwell with cough, fever or any flu like symptoms, please telephone Clarendon Dental Surgery on 028 71 263397 to reschedule your appointment. ‼️DO NOT ATTEND THE SURGERY‼️. Appointments can be rescheduled over the coming weeks.❗️❗️❗️

To reduce numbers in the Waiting Room, we would appreciate, where possible, that the patient attends alone or if they need to be accompanied that this limited to 1 person.

We would ask that you arrive not more than 5 minutes before appointment time.

When brushing children's teeth remember to only use a small amount of fluoridated toothpaste. For young children from 2yrs of age a small smear of toothpaste is all that is needed. For children from 5 or 6yrs of age a pea sized or slightly smaller will suffice. Prevention is the key...EVERY CHILD can go through life cavity free. Reduce sugar, have good oral hygiene and maintain regular dental check ups and your child will have a smile they can be proud of for life!!
