What is Reiki?

Pronounced Ray-Key…

It is a Japanese therapy that aims to balance our energy to promote healing, relaxation and wellbeing .

Derived from the Japanese words:

REI - meaning “Universal or Higher Power”
and
KI - which translates to “Life Force Energy“

So Reiki is actually:
‘ Universal Life Force Energy ‘

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.
It works through the transfer of universal energy from the practitioner’s palms through light touch to the client.
Often referred to as hands-on healing.
