Michael and Shane sons of the late Eamon Brolly (R.I.P), his mother Mary, brothers, sisters and the wider family circle would like to convey our sincere thanks to all who offered their sympathy and condolences on the loss of a dear father, son, brother, uncle, grand uncle, brother-in-law, cousin and nephew.

Thanks to everyone who came to the wake at McLaughlin's Funeral home, called to our home, attended the funeral, viewed Mass on the we**am, brought or sent Mass and Sympathy cards, floral tributes, both for the grave and home, sent messages, messages via social media, made telephone calls and to work colleagues for their tremendous support and kindness. To all who brought food and gifts it was greatly appreciated by us the family. A special mention to Eamon's best friend Dermot McCloskey (Tucker) who has given his outstanding support down the years and also to his best friends, Eoin and Eamon O'Hara who have been always been there for him. Also to Vinny Gallagher, best friend from school days (now living in Australia) for his continued friendship over the years. A special mention to Joel O'Neill and family whose friendship was most valued. Also a special mention to his 'banter buddies', at the Arcade including Eamonn, Kieran and Martin to name but a few. It is ironic that Eamon spent his last day, Saturday, 14th at one of his favourite places, the family farm in the Foreglen spending time with his uncle Eugene.

Thank you Fr Gerry Sweeney, P.P. for visiting us both in our home and at the Funeral Home. Your visits made all the difference to us at this difficult time. And a special word of thanks to Fr Gerry for celebrating the beautiful Requiem Mass and the delivery of the very apt homily. Thank you Fr Seamus Kelly, Priest in Residence, Dungiven and Fr Noel McDermott, P.P. Faughanvale and Tamnaherin for visiting the Funeral Home and reciting appropriate prayers. Thanks to Jolene and Martin for the beautiful music, to Annie Jo and Laura the sacristans, Sean Mullan the grave digger, Cathal's Flowers for the beautiful floral arrangements and also to Martin Myles for traffic control.

A special word of thanks to Connor Kealey, Glenda McCloskey and Annmarie McElhinney who first alerted the emergency services. Thank you to St Canice's GAA for the use of the defibrillator and their pitch for the air ambulance to land. Our sincere thanks to Seamus McCloskey as first responder operating the defib. A special tribute to the Ambulance Service, the PSNI, Fire Service and the Air Ambulance for their outstanding efforts in assisting Eamon. Also a special word of thanks to the exceptional team of doctors and nurses at the Royal Victoria Hospital who did their utmost to attain the best possible outcome.

The family would like to express their gratitude to McLaughlin Funeral Directors, Seamus, Deborah and team for the professional caring and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. Their kindness, guidance and attention to detail were a great comfort to our family during such a difficult time.

Thanks to Silky's for providing the refreshments after the funeral and to the Management of Glor Hall for the use of their premises.

Also thanks to everyone who made donations in lieu of flowers to Air Ambulance.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we hope this acknowledgment will be accepted as a heartfelt expression of our gratitude.
