Late of 32 Banagher Road, Dungiven, Co Derry,

Beloved wife of Mickey. Daughter of the late Bridie and Joe RIP and loving sister of Peter and the late Mary Rose RIP. Dear sister in law of Pat, Anne, Susan, Sharon, Margaret and Geraldine.

We - the family of the late Damien Archibald wish to express their sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent and very sad bereavement.
Many thanks to all who sent Mass and sympathy cards, made phone calls, sent text messages, left messages of sympathy online and we sincerely thank everyone who came to the wake and attended the funeral and to those who brought gifts of food or helped and supported us in anyway.

Special thanks to Fr Gerry Sweeny P.P for his spiritual support and celebrating Damien’s Requiem Mass and to Fr Seamus Kelly for his prayers and words of comfort. Thank you to all who participated in the Requiem Mass especially Damien’s friends who carried his symbols of life.

We would like to thank Kevin and Gerrard Mc Gilligan for their assisting with the final resting place, The Mullan family for assisting with the refreshments after the funeral, Joelene Grieve and Martin Kealey for the lovely singing, Cathal’s flowers for the family funeral flowers, and to Deborah and Seamus and the team at McLaughlin Funeral Directors for their professional services and their sensitivity in carrying out the funeral arrangements.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude.

A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s Church on Tuesday, 4th November at 7.00pm. This Mass will be in remembrance of all those who have died from November 2024.

Everyone is welcome to come and pray for the members of their families, and for those who have passed away in our Parish over the years.

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Valerie Feeney peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on the 25th of October 2025. May she rest in peace.

Late of 211 Altinure Road, Park, Claudy, Co Derry, BT47 4DG.

Beloved daughter of the late Kathleen and Wishie R.I.P and loving sister of Carol McLaughlin, Mary Craig, James, Gabriel, Vincent, Viona McConville, Eamon, Gareth, Leonard, Audrey McElhinney and the late Martina R.I.P.
Deeply regretted and will be sorely missed by all her nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand nephews, cousins and the entire family circle.

Reposing at her late home. Wake will commence on Sunday (26th) at 12noon and Monday (27th) at 12noon.

Funeral on Tuesday 28th of October leaving her late home at 10.20am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Altinure.

Our beloved husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather & great grandfather.

His wife Monica, daughters Leanne Kerlin (Shane) and Ciara Donaghy (Adrian) and sons
Shane (Martina), Kevin (Adel), Martin (Fionnuala) and their families would like to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported and sympathised with us during our recent and sad loss of John.

We thank Dr Knox , District Nursing Sr Margaret Kelly and all the staff of Feeny Health Centre, Dr Dunne and Shannon McGuinness from The Parkinson’s Team, Dr Todd & staff from the Acute Care At Home Team and Stefan and staff of McDaids Pharmacy, Dungiven for all their kindness, care and attention shown to John.

Thank you to Fr Dermot McGirr and Fr Eamon Graham who prayed with and attended John throughout his illness and for celebrating the beautiful Requiem Mass - your spiritual support was so greatly appreciated by the our family.

Thank you to all our neighbours and friends who helped serve the tea during the wake and who helped with the wake parking , everyone who called at the family home, attended the funeral, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, messages of condolences online, floral tributes and gifts of food.

Thank you to Joelene Grieve & Martin Kealey for the beautiful hymns and music, Seamus the church sacristan, Kevin Kelly and those who helped with final resting place, Cathal’s Flowers and Romona’s flowers for the lovely funeral arrangements, Martin Myles for assisting on the road the morning of John’s funeral and Caroline and all the staff of Peach & Passion for the beautiful funeral refreshments.

Finally we thank Deborah, Seamus, Eugene and John of McLaughlin Funeral Directors for all their help and support with carrying out the wake and funeral arrangements as we wished.

As it is impossible to thank you all individually we hope this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our sincere thanks to anyone who helped in anyway.

John’s Month Mind Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday 29th of October 2025 in St. Peter & St. Paul’s Church, Foreglen at 7pm.
