We will be transitioning to a new clinical IT system on Tuesday 2nd June, 2026.

This is a mandatory requirement which several other GP Practices in Northern Ireland have already completed.

From the end of May and into the first few weeks of June there will be some disruption to our services. The following will be affected:

• We have to close our patient list to new registrations until July 2026
• We will have to limit the number of routine appointments we can offer but will continue to offer urgent same day appointments
• We will have to take our online repeat prescription ordering service off line from 20th May. We will contact you by email in the next few days to provide you with information on how to order your repeat prescriptions during the transition period and again at a later date to advise you on how to get set up on the new online ordering system.

Please check your email inbox and spam folders for these. You can still leave your prescription request into the Practice.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE ENOUGH MEDICATION TO LAST YOU OVER THE CHANGEOVER PERIOD.

We will continue to provide updates on this page as we move through the changeover. Should you have any concerns, our doors and telephone lines will remain open and our team will be there to help you.

🔹We are holding the 1st of our Covid-19 Spring Booster vaccination clinics at the Practice today between 3-5pm.
🔹Eligible patients would have received an invitation to attend this clinic or the next clinic on 13th May
🔹In the interests of patient and staff safety, the Practice car park will be closed this afternoon, therefore patients should allow extra time for parking.

🔹 We have scheduled COVID-19 Spring Booster vaccination clinics for 3-5pm on Wed 29th April & Wed 13th May
🔹 Eligible patients will receive an invitation to attend

The 2026 COVID-19 spring vaccination programme gets under way on Monday 20 April, giving the more vulnerable members of our community the opportunity to top up their protection ahead of any potential waves of COVID-19 over the coming months.

This year’s spring vaccine will be offered to:
• adults aged 75 years old or over;
• residents in a care home for older adults;
• individuals aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed, as defined in COVID-19: the green book, chapter 14a.

The Practice runs a baby vaccination clinic every Thursday afternoon. A team of Health Visitors and a GP complete the vaccinations.
We also run a monthly pre-school vaccination clinic.
Contact the Practice on 02871 262790 if your child requires any of their vaccines.

If you are unsure if your child is up to date with vaccinations the easiest way to check is to look at your child’s red book or speak to your health visitor. If your child has missed a vaccination, please contact your GP practice to book an appointment as soon as you can to make sure they have maximum protection against disease.
