In Loving Memory of Maureen O’Hagan
Died 9th August

The Month’s Mind Mass for the late Maureen O’Hagan will be celebrated on 9th September 7:15 in Holy family chapel.

We, the family of Maureen, would like to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported us during our recent bereavement. Your kindness, sympathy, and presence have been a great comfort to us all.
A special word of thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff of Ward 26, the community nurses, and the dedicated team at Foyle Hospice for the exceptional care and compassion shown to Maureen throughout her illness.
We are truly grateful to Fr. Kevin for his comforting prayers and for celebrating Maureen’s funeral Mass. Thank you also to Sharon and Monica for the beautiful singing, which added so much to the service.
Our sincere thanks to Mark Wylie for the dignified horse and carriage, and to Studio 2 for providing such lovely food and hospitality.
A heartfelt thank you to Seán Carr Funeral Directors for their professionalism, guidance, and care throughout the funeral arrangements.
To everyone who called to the house, sent cards or messages, brought food, attended the wake or funeral, or supported us in any way — please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our deep appreciation.
Maureen is forever loved, sadly missed, and always remembered.

4th Anniversary

Remembering with love our mammy and granny whose 4th anniversary occurs on 1st September, 2025.

There is nothing so special on this earth as a mother's undying love. It's as precious as an ocean pearl an as pure as a snow white dove.
But Heaven needed an angel and the one God choose was you and the day He called you home it broke our hearts in two.
Although you sleep in Heaven now, you're not that far away. Our hearts are full of memories an we feel you with us each an everyday.

Marian Robinson
Died 8th August 2025

The family of the late Marian Robinson wish to extend their sincere thanks for all the help, support and generosity during their recent bereavement.

Thanks to all who called to the house, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, flowers, sent messages, phone calls and attended the wake and funeral, we would also like to thank all who brought food particularly McMullan foods, Bowling Alley and Altcar Chippy.

We offer heartfelt thanks to family and friends who showed respect at the wake and funeral, to those that were able to attend the funeral and all who viewed the funeral online.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for family and friends support during Marians illness, and family who travelled to be with us at this difficult time.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Fr John McDevitt for his guidance, prayers, rosary, requiem mass and burial, and also for visiting Marian regularly at home in recent years. To Sean Carr funeral directors for the dignified and caring way they carried out the funeral arrangements. Thank you to Sinead Burnside for the beautiful singing at the mass.

We would also like to thank the paramedics, a&e staff and all the staff of ward 26 for the care and kindness they showed Marian and the family.

Thank you also to Bryson care, Northwest care and the Trust for the care they have shown to Marian at home.

The family would particularly like to thank the McMonagle and Robinson families.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Marians months mind will be celebrated on Saturday 6th September at 6.30pm at Our Lady Of Lourdes Church, Steelstown Derry which can be viewed online.

Harry Derges 21st August 2025, peacefully at his home 11 Cashlemore Park, surrounded by all his family.
Beloved husband of Marie. Loving father of Elaine, Karen, Geraldine, Kevin and the Late Angela.
A Much loved Grandfather, great grandfather and father-in-law.
Dear son of the Late Lily and Sid brother of Cecilia, Emily and the Late John.

Harry will be reposing at his home today Friday 22nd August at 5pm

Funeral from there on Monday 25th August at 9.20am to St Eugenes Cathedral for requiem mass at 10am. Interment afterwards in the city cemetery.

Deeply regretted by his family circle and everyone that knew him.

William (Willie) Doherty, 18th August 2025 peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital (Late of 26 Brickfield Court).

Beloved husband of Chris. Loving father of Kevin, Paul, Christine and Majella. A much loved Grandfather and great grandfather.

Willie will be reposing at his daughter Christine's home, 48 Farland Way today, Monday at 4.30pm

Funeral from there on Wednesday at 9.20am to St Eugene's Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 10am.
Interment afterwards in the city cemetery

Marian Robinson, (nee McMonagle) 8th August 2025 peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital surrounded by all her family. Beloved wife of the Late James (Jim) Loving mother of Warren, Jim, Roland, Clare, Neil, Debbie and the late Mark and Ryan. A much loved Grandmother, Great Grandmother.

Beloved daughter of the late Charlie and Mona. Dear Sister of John, Charlie, Betty, Eileen, Monica, Veronica, Geraldine, Collette, Sheila, Martin and the late Lornie, Jim and Neil.

Marian will be reposing at her family home, 50 Cornshell fields, today (Sunday) at 3pm. Funeral from there on Tuesday at 9.20am to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Steelstown for Requiem mass at 10am. Interment afterwards in the city cemetery.
