John (Dessie) Rooney, 31st January 2026 peacefully at Letterkenny University hospital.

Beloved husband of Eilish. Loving father of John, Meletia, Eamon, Michelle, Kayrena and the late Kevin.
Much loved grandfather and great grandfather.
Beloved son of the late Martin and Madge (formally of Pennyburn, Derry). Brother of Maureen, Ann, Madeline, Irene, Dermotte, Martin and the late Marjorie and Eamon.

Dessie's remains will arrive at M**f Border at 11am tomorrow (Sunday).
Dessie will then be reposing at his family home, 4 Green bank cottages F93 V6PO, Quigley's point (Formally Tullagh) from 11.30am.

Funeral from there on Tuesday at 10am to St Mary's Church, Clonmany for requiem mass at 11am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by all his family and everyone that knew him.

Family flowers only. If wished, donations in lieu to Oncology unit at Letterkenny University hospital c/o any family member.

Family time please from 10pm to 11am and on the morning of the funeral.

Beloved wife of Patsy. Loving mother of Pat, Damien, Paul and Ann. Dear mother-in-law of John, Donna and the Late Mary. A Much loved Grandmother and Great Grandmother.

Mary will be reposing at her daughter Ann's home 57 Ederowen Park today Friday from 3pm.

Funeral from there on Sunday at 8.30am to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Steelstown for requiem mass at 9.00am. interment afterwards in the city cemetery.

Acknowledgement/Month’s Mind Mass

We, the husband, daughter and grandchildren of Mary Bradley wish to express our heartfelt
thanks and deep appreciation to everyone who offered sympathy, help or support to us on the
loss of our much loved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
We are grateful to our family, extended family, neighbours and friends who have supported us
and provided much-needed practical and emotional support, you have made this journey an
easier path to walk. Our thanks also to the countless people who attended Mary’s wake and
funeral, called at our home or sent cards and messages, your presence and kindness brought
us much comfort.
A special word of thanks to the staff and children of Carnhill Primary School for the guard of
honour they so graciously observed. We would also like to thank our family GPs, nurses, social
care team and admin staff at Abbey Medical Practice, whose care and unwavering support was
both professional and compassionate throughout Mary’s illness, and also to Noel Carroll at the
older people’s team for his care, help and assistance throughout Mary’s illness.
Our thanks also goes to the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, in particular, paramedics Aine
and Alison for the attention, care and support they showed to Mary under difficult
circumstances.
Our thanks also to all the medical and social care staff at Altnagelvin Hospital who cared for
Mary, in particular, those in A&E, ward 41 and ward 42. Thank you to Fr. Gerard Mongan for the
heartfelt requiem mass which celebrated Mary’s life and to Isobel and Sinead for the beautiful
music they provided. Our thanks also to Fr. Stephen Ward and Fr. Michael Canny for their
ministry to Mary at Altnagelvin Hospital.
Thank you to the many individuals and organisations that provided equipment and food
throughout the wake that are too many to mention - we are extremely grateful to you all.
A special word of thanks to all the staff in ward 2 at Altnagelvin Hospital for the compassion,
care and thoughtfulness they showed to Liam upon his sudden illness lasting throughout Mary’s
wake and funeral.
Finally, our heartfelt thanks to the Carr Family Funeral Directors for their constant care and
attention, for their advice and direction throughout Mary’s wake and funeral, and for the
compassionate and dignified manner in which they carried out their services.
As it would be impossible to thank every person individually, please accept this
acknowledgement as a token of sincere appreciation for any help that was provided. The Holy
Sacrifice of the mass will be offered for everyone’s intentions.
Mary’s month’s mind mass will be held at St. Brigid’s, Carnhill on Thursday 29th January at
7pm, all are welcome.

We,the family of late Isabel Murray would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported on the loss of a much loved Mother, Grandmother, Great -Grandmother and Mother in law .

To all our family, friends and neighbours who provided emotional and practical support at such a difficult time. To all whose who brought food, flowers and assisted with the wake in anyway, we extend our heartfelt gratitude.

We are deeply appreciative to all messages, mass cards, sympathy cards and all who attended the house during the wake, was a great comfort to us at this difficult time .We thank you.

Sincere thanks to the funeral directors, Sean Carr and Family for their compassionate, expertise and professionalism manner in carrying out Isabel's funeral.

We are grateful to Father Mongan from Long Tower for attending the house and conducting a beautiful requiem mass for Isabel.

A special word of appreciation to Emer Dunne and Jenny Grant to their contribution to the Mass with heartfelt music. It touched everyone.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a heartfelt appreciation.

Isabel's Month Mind Mass will be celebrated Sunday 25th January, at 10:30am in St. Marys Church, Creggan .

We the family of the late Emmanuel Caruana, would like to thank everyone who attended our daddys wake & funeral especially those who travelled. For all the beautiful floral tributes, mass cards & kind words. To everyone who brought food and helped with teas etc..

We would particularly like to thank first responder Jack Friel who came to daddys assistance until the emergency services arrived who worked with daddy with such dignity & care thanks will never be enough.

A special thanks to our
daddys great friend Charlie Herron always their for daddy through life & stayed with him until he passed,to our amazing neighbours seana Canning, Lisa & Martin Shiels, Mary Ward & all our neighbours for their love care and support.

Thank you to Fr forbes & Fr McFaul for thee most beautiful service and words we know our daddy would have loved it,to Annmarie Hickey for your amazing Singing.
