About Us

Bradley & McLaughlin Funeral Directors is an independent, 3rd generation, family owned business with over 50 years experience in caring for the bereaved and their families in Derry and across the wider Northwest. Originally established by friends Charlie Bradley and Denis McLaughlin, the business was then taken on by Charlie's sons, John and Alex. Following John's death in 2017, Alex's son, Charles, rejoined him within the business to take over running the business. In addition to Alex and Charles, the team at Bradley & McLaughlin have many years combined experience in the funeral industry - Denis McLaughlin (Denis' son), Charlie McLaughlin, Joe Parke, Kieran Dunne and Paul Farren. We offer at need funeral services and bespoke funeral plans with flexible repayment arrangements and pre-arranged/pre-paid funeral packages. Bradley & McLaughlin Funeral Directors Ltd is an appointed representative of Golden Charter Limited trading as Golden Charter Funeral Plans which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN:965279). We are full members of the Irish Association of Funeral Directors and adhere to their Code of Practice.

BROLLY, 24th March 2026, peacefully at his home 4 The Branch, CIARAN, beloved husband of Una, loving father of Ciaran, Mark, Maria, Thomas and Fiona, devoted grandfather of Jack, Kayleigh, Daniel, Niamh, Ciara, Ethan, Matthew, Anna, Thomas, Leo, Tony, Aidan, Zoe and Cara, dear father-in-law to Arlene, Cathy, Rob, Leona and Tony, son of the late Kearney and Veronica, cherished brother of Vincent, Maureen and Declan. Loved and will be sadly missed by his wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Ciaran will be reposing at his home on Wednesday 25th March from 12:00 noon to 9:00 pm and Thursday from 12:00 noon to 9:00 pm.

Funeral leaving his home on Friday 27th March at 9:20 am to Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty for Requiem Mass at 10:00 am followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 4:00 pm.

Family flowers only donations in lieu if wished to Foyle Hospice, 61 Culmore Road, Derry, BT48 8JE.

QUIGLEY, 23rd March 2026, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, PADDY, (late of Alexander House and formerly of Elmwood Terrace), beloved son of the late Paddy and Caroline, loving brother of John, Kathryn and Caroline, devoted uncle to Ciaran, Laura, Rachel, Orlaith and Aoife, dear brother-in-law to Seamus, Joe and Louise. Loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle and his many friends.

Paddy will be reposing in Alexander House, Bishop Street on Tuesday 24th March from 2:00 p.m.

Funeral leaving Alexander House, on Wednesday 25th. March at 1:30 p.m. to the City Cemetery for interment at 2:00 p.m.

Eamon HUTTON

The family of the late Eamon Hutton would like to express their sincere thanks to all our family and friends who supported us during Eamon's illness prayed for and cared for Eamon and for all who attended the wake and funeral, sent mass cards messages and donated to the Foyle Hospice.

A special thanks to the district nurses from Quayside Medical Practice. We appreciate the loving care you showed Eamon during his illness.

Thank you so much to the Foyle Hospice community nurses Pamela, Melissa and Michelle.

For the Doctors, nurses and all the staff in the Foyle Hospice we cannot thank you enough and we will be eternally grateful for the care Eamon received during his final weeks in your loving care.

A special thanks to Fr Declan McGeehan for visiting Eamon in the hospice. To Fr Gerard Mongan and Fr John Forbes thank you for your kind words of support during the wake and the beautiful requiem mass.

A special thanks to Isobel and Sarah for the beautiful music and singing during the mass.

Beloved husband of Claire, loving father of Cormac (Jo) and Paul (Chanya), a devoted grandfather of Niamh and Aoife, cherished son of the late Eddie and Rose, and dear brother of Nuala (Frank Crossan), Hughie (Joan), Fergus (Kathie), Shaun (Marie), Maura (Seamus Carlin),Eamon (Magdalen), Shelia (Vernon Kelly), Niall (Pat RIP,and Bernie), and Grainne (John McGill). Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all his wider family, friends and neighbours.
