We are so excited to bring this brand new class to our Wednesday evening 1800-1900 slot w. .yoga!

Think balance and conditioning, this practice is a dynamic blend of ballet-inspired barre and yoga to tone tissues and boost balance - all with mindful breath and flow.🩰💪

An energising 60 mins using small, controlled movements and bodyweight resistance to build strength and flexbility. With plenty of props, expect a focused approach to the body with high-reward movement alongside the lengthening release of vinyasa. Zero dance experience required!

Yin Yoga, Sound & Mantra

An evening of deep rest and inner connection this December 13th.

Together, and .dumpleton_guidedrhythms will guide you through a grounding Yin Yoga practice supported by the healing power of live sound - including handpan, sacred mantra and meditative instrumentals.

The session will close with a nourishing and long, sound-infused Shavasana. A full-body integration of rest and release.

Expect:

✨Long-held and delicious floor-based Yin postures.
✨Deep nervous system reset.
✨Live mantra (to listen and chant).
✨Sacred soundscapes to open the heart.
✨A space to receive and reconnect.

Often found at one of our Ashtanga gatherings, Meg will now be holding space - taking on our ‘Mandala Flow’ and ‘Power Flow’ classes as of November!🌀🌱

With a passion for pranayama, her practices focus on the mind, body, and breath connections, exploring how these elements can work together to shift our state, cultivate deeper awareness, and create balance within. She enjoys a challenging and dynamic flow, balanced with moments of stillness and presence, to create a well-rounded and nurturing practice.

October’s Yin Supper Club w. and celebrated the rich colour and hearty earthiness of autumn!🍁🍄‍🟫🌙

Chestnut mushroom + spinach quiche, harissa sweet potato + carrot wedges, beetroot + pear + pecan salad, rosemary + turmeric focaccia and maple mustard dressing. Followed by a spiced apple crumble cake w. roasted figs + walnut coconut yoghurt.

Into The Soft Season ~ Yin Yoga & Sound Bath

Calm your mind, body and soul with this winter and delve deep into the waters of the darker months.

As the gentle light of October’s waxing crescent moon begins to return, we gather to mark this quiet, potent phase - an invitation to begin again with intention and softness. Just days after the New Moon, this is a time for rooting into stillness, gathering energy, and tending to what lies beneath the surface.

We’ll move through a nourishing Yin Yoga practice, focusing on the Kidney and Bladder meridians - organs associated with winter in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Expect approachable, floor-based shapes to support rest, reflection and the flow of Qi as we move inward with Mother Nature.

Midway, we’ll pause for a wholesome and nutritious brunch from ; brekkie bowls, fresh juice and warming sticky masala chai.

To close, we’ll settle into an immersive sound bath guided by Sound and Reiki Therapist . A transformative journey where the layered tones and powerful healing frequencies of crystalline bowls, chimes, shamanic drums and light language singing move through the energetic pathways we’ve opened. A truly magical experience where melodic, carefully constructed, soothing vibrations wash the body, cultivating the deepest levels of relaxation and release in our cosy, candlelit studio.

The shorter midday practice focuses on the Manipura (Solar Plexus Chakra). Expect a dynamic flow class with core focus, energizing twists and Kapalabhati breathwork.

Movement designed to build awareness of our centre, dissolve tension and stoke internal heat. Explore an energy centre that connects us to the sun, cultivating confidence and strength - embracing your personal power and setting the tone to jump back into the outside world.

Always wanted to give yoga a go but don’t think you’re physically flexible enough?

What if feeling tight isn’t about your flexibility? Maybe your body is trying to send you another message. Sometimes the body feels restricted because it lacks strength or stability in the range of movement you’re asking of it. In these moments we can use yoga to improve a more balanced distribution of effort, nurturing longevity and comfort in the body - but it takes work!🪩

Yup. Tightness isn’t always about creating space, it can also be your NS telling you that you need more control.

Our super popular ‘Sow Foundations’ classes focus on learning the traditional shapes of yoga whilst building the strength and confidence to take your practice deeper. We look at poses strategically to empower students and help gain full body awareness. It’s a supportive and fun space held by that starts for another 6 week block next Thursday 4th September (drop-in still available).🌱

New to movement, new to this type of movement or feeling new-ish after some time away - it serves every body and brain.

YOGA FOR PALESTINE 🇵🇸

Join .yoga.beherenow and our sangha to support and stand with Palestine.

🌱

Often times our yoga practice is reduced to the time we spend on our mat, connecting with breath, moving the body, finding a bit of space for ourselves and learning to settle and centre.

But Yoga, and note the uppercase ‘Y’, real Yoga is social justice, it is questioning the systems we are a part of, it is using our time here to make a difference not just in our inner world but in the outer world too. It is not becoming so aware of our own breath that we forget about the other beings in this world that just want to breathe, to be able to find a peaceful space for themselves, to be able to rest. With all the suffering in this world it is hard no know where to help, it is hard to be aware of it all and we can find ourselves closing up in a sort of spiritual bypass. Someone once spoke to me about a way to see things to help us regulate in times of despair and helplessness.

“See this existence as a cauldron full of ingredients. There are many cooks and you are one of them. Are the ingredients you add going to be bitter (fear, guilt,shame) or are they going to be sweet (generosity, compassion, love). We have choices every day that will affect humanity and this experience as a whole. How can you add a little sweetness today, tomorrow and all days?”

I would love it if you could join me for a little charity Yoga gathering to help raise money to support the organisation as they help Palestinian families who have had their homes stolen and destroyed, families who are escaping the genocide of their people and decimation of their land.

Practice; asana, pranayama, meditation. Tea, snacks and circle.
