Autonomy now has these little gems available to those of you preferring to have your own clock. I’ve put them next to tissue boxes in the hallway. Pop £3.50 in the ‘contributions’ tin in the kitchen (or pick one up next time you’re in Sainsbury’s) should you like to own one.

It is frrrreezing! Apologies for the radiators not functioning properly this week; the whole building is affected. But rest assure they will be up and running again shortly. Meanwhile, say hello to Heater 1 and Heater 2 😉 These are Autonomy’s newest purchases and can be found next to the other fan-heaters outside Room 1. Note that these are a little slower to warm up a room, but they are also magnificently quiet!!

🍂 Autumn is truly here and winter is approaching. With that, more of you will find yourself working after dark. I’ve added a 4th lamp in the Ikea Room for those of you not wanting to use the bright office light in the ceiling but rather keep that softer lighting from lamps. Counsellors from all other rooms: get in touch should you require more lamps or stronger W bulbs. 💡

The Tea Room now has a gorgeous new print on its wall. All part of its transition to eventually become The Study. Painting and decorating will commence over the Christmas holidays. Think Art Deco wood, dark blue with grey and light soft grey walls, angle poise lamp and books....

Hi all! After deliberating the pros and cons of limiting the access to the Autonomy rooms I have decided to reopen both Room 3 (Cosy room) and the kitchen. As most of us are aware, the government regulations regarding Covid-19 are relatively vague of what are actual rules to follow and what is common sense.
As I watch more and more businesses reopen I’m aware of a common theme amongst its owners’ attitudes: the public does not need nannying; they are aware of any potential dangers and should act according to their own beliefs, reservations and health concerns. Learning that even ‘Laser Quest’ has reopened (although with certain limitations), it made me rethink whether full access to the Autonomy rooms were a possibility.

I will still be onsite to disinfect the rooms after each therapist, however I urge you to do the same between each client. Antibacterial sprays and disinfectants will be available on site.

Good evening! A few more lamps has been added to the Autonomy rooms to create that soft lighting that is so important in a counselling setting. There is also a newcomer in the Livingroom in the form of a mini Ikea chair... 🙂

Room 4 aka ‘The Livingroom’ is now ready for use. Book it for either £10 per individual 75 minute slot, or £9 consecutively. 🛋

I’m happy to announce that Autonomy will re-open its doors to practitioners and their clients on Monday 15th June. Adhering to government guidelines, there are several changes put in place to reduce the risk of spreading Covid-19. This will be explained under the heading ‘Covid-19’ on Autonomy’s website https://bersevann.wixsite.com/autonomy-1 . We look forward to welcome back those of you who’s practiced from Autonomy prior to the lock-down (but with no handshakes this time 😉) and to any newcomers wanting to have a look.

There will be a 30 minute gap between each booked slot where the room, WC, doors and banister leading up to Autonomy will be disinfected.
