We are absolutely delighted to share some wonderful news — Windward House has achieved a “Good” rating following our recent CQC inspection! This is a fantastic achievement for our home and a true reflection of the dedication, kindness and hard work of our amazing staff and colleagues, as well as the support of our residents and their families and friends.

To celebrate this special milestone, we warmly invite you to join us for a celebratory Afternoon Tea.

📅 Thursday 19th March 2026
🕒 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
📍 The Conservatory at Windward House

There will be tea, coffee, cakes and plenty of good company as we come together to celebrate this achievement as a community.

Our Company Directors will also be joining us, and they have prepared a special banner that will be displayed outside Windward House. During the afternoon, we would love to gather staff, residents, families and friends for a group photograph with the banner to mark this proud moment for the home.

Please could you let us know if you will be attending by Tuesday 17th March, so we can ensure we have plenty of refreshments for everyone. If you have any dietary requirements, please include these when you reply so we can ensure there is something suitable for you to enjoy.

It promises to be a lovely afternoon filled with smiles, celebration and appreciation for everyone who helps make Windward House such a wonderful place.

This feature reflects the everyday dedication, compassion, and creativity of our staff. From thoughtful activity planning to the smallest personal touches, Windward House goes above and beyond to ensure our residents live fulfilling, enriched lives.

A huge thank you to Registered Manager Ambika Prasad, whose vision and support allow us to share these moments and show what high-quality, person-centred care looks like in practice. 💙
