Ansaar Organisation

Ansaar Organisation Initially this group came together to look at different ways in which they could help young Muslims in the community.

‘ We develop a successful and confident community through educating, encouraging and empowering young people to make a valuable contribution to the economic, spiritual social and civil life of North Kirklees.’ Ansaar Organisation was formed in 2001, by local volunteers who felt issues around health, education and recreation relating to the Muslims in Batley and Dewsbury were not being promoted. Since then the work of Ansaar has expanded in engaging and working with a range of Muslim and non-Muslim organisations and community groups. As a voluntary non-profit organisation we are recognised as one of the leading partners in Kirklees that works with young people. Our vision for this year has been to inspire and develop a successful, confident and self-conscious young person that makes a valuable contribution to the economic, social and civic life of Kirklees. Through partnership working with community groups and statutory agencies the Ansaar Organisation helps to organise and promote activities, which are inclusive and respectful of different cultures and traditions and allows participants to develop their social, educational and personal skills.

*Aid convoy to Syria*
# May # #
As you may well know, the situation in Syria is getting worse with over 1 million refugees and many more displaced living without basic necessities such as clean water, shelter , clothing , baby supplies , medical supplies and vehicles.
After speaking to our various contacts on the ground in Syria and with the worsening situation, We have decided to organise another convoy for Syria which will be leaving on the 26th of may from various destinations across the Uk. (I will personally be going this time Insha Allah - Arshad)
From Batley, We are planning to take 1 or 2 ambulances laden with with medical and other essential supplies directly to the refugee camps and our partner clinics in Syria. Please note - We will be delivering to areas where they do not have any vehicles at all and also lack even the basic supplies such as paracetamol -We are also needing business / organisations to help sponsor the trip with your logos on the vehicles - Your kind donations will help save lives on a daily basis. This is your chance to help and gain reward for the sake of allah.
