Bilateral partial nail surgery for a painful ingrowing toenail.

Procedure:
- Two local anesthesia injections are used to numb the toe.
- A tourniquet is applied. This is a band put around your toe to stop it from bleeding.
- The appropriate part of the nail is removed from the nail bed.
- Nail matrix is cauterised using a chemical called phenol. This prevents the nail from re-growing.
- No cutting or stitching of skin is involved.
- The healing time for this procedure is 6-8 weeks (average).

These have been two of our most popular products in the clinic for the past few months and we will continue to stock these as we’ve received great feedback for both of these:

Emtrix is a clinically proven treatment for fungal nails. A simple daily topical application will improve the appearence of the fungal nails within a few weeks. Best results are achieved by using it daily for up to 6 months.

Restorate is a urea based cream (25% urea) for dry and cracked feet. It comes in a spray form which makes it easier to use for those struggling to reach their feet. It smells amazing, is non-greasy and can be sprayed upside down!!

Give these a try next time you’re at the clinic if you suffer from dry skin or fungal nails.

Good evening everyone!
The clinic is now open after a couple weeks off for refurbishment. We hope to continue the legacy of Debrah’s hard work over the years by providing the best possible treatment.

Unfortunately the landline provider is having some issues so the phoneline is down at the moment. We are working with them to sort this hopefully by the end of this week 🤞🏽 Please use this number as the point of contact in the meantime: 07857 981947

My last day today after 34 years.
Tomorrow Instep clinic will be transferred to Tony and Obaid, 2 young podiatrist with new ideas. I'm confident the treatment will be of a high standard.
Thank you patients old and new for your support. I've had lots of lovely cards and presents.
I hope you will continue to visit the clinic.
