The Yoga Garden 2026 Arc - A seasonal journey through the year with Kate Harvey 🌷🌞🍂❄️

The Yoga Garden is a seasonal gathering space, these practices are held four times across the year, aligned with the turning points of nature.

🌱Sunday 29th March
9.30 - 12.30pm
Spring, maternal energy, reawakening

🌞Saturday 10th June
10.30 - 1.30pm
Summer solstice, expansion, vitality

🍁Sunday 18th October
10.30 - 1.30pm
Autumn, release, letting go

❄️December (Date TBC)
Winter, rest, decompress, process

Each session offers a spacious three hour practice blending Hatha yoga, somatic movement, breathwork and guided reflection. The themes shift with the seasons, inviting you to move, rest and recalibrate in rhythm with the time of year.

Rather than following a fixed formula, The Yoga Garden responds to the energy of each seasonal threshold. Together we explore the balance of strength and softness, effort and ease, light and dark, honouring the natural cycles that shape both the outer world and our inner landscape.

These gatherings are an invitation to step out of urgency and into rhythm. To listen. To tend. To rest.

You are welcome to attend individual sessions or move through the full year as a seasonal arc. All levels of experience are welcome.

Ayurvedic Detox Workshop 🌸
🌱Spring Edition with Gemma

Saturday 28th March
2pm - 5:00pm
with Gemma

Spring is the ideal time in Ayurveda to gently clear winter heaviness and reset digestion — without deprivation.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how and when to create a nourishing seasonal detox from an Ayurvedic perspective. We’ll explore the doshas, why they matter during seasonal transitions, and how these energies show up in both the physical and mental body.

During the session, I will guide you through identifying your personal doshic constitution, so you leave with a clear understanding of your own starting point.

You’ll learn about different types of Ayurvedic cleanses you can safely do at home, when they are supportive, and — just as importantly — when not to cleanse and why.

Following the workshop, we’ll form a small community group and begin a gentle Spring cleanse together the following week, offering support, accountability, and shared intention.

Suitable for all.

Awakening into Spring 🌱

Qigong, Yin Yoga & Sound Bath

with Kate Harding & Lois Richards
Friday 6th March | 11:30-2:30pm

Following the quietness of winter, nature awakens into spring. Trees begin to bud, birds build their nests, and insects emerge and multiply. As part of nature, our bodies also respond to these seasonal shifts in energy.

This workshop combines Qigong, Yin Yoga, and sound healing to harmonise with the rising energy of spring and the Wood phase - a time of growth, renewal, and forward movement in Chinese medicine.

The Wood phase supports vision, creativity, flexibility, and our ability to adapt to change, while also encouraging us to stay rooted and supported as we grow.

The Long Exhale | A Nervous System Reset with Jack Mansfield of Bear & Bird

Sat 28th March
At The Yoga Garden, West Sussex
10.30am - 12.30pm
£30

The Long Exhale is a practical, supportive workshop focused on helping you understand and regulate your nervous system through simple, effective tools.

Using a blend of mindful movement, breath, awareness and grounding practices, you will learn how to settle your body, steady your mind and move out of stress mode and into a calmer, more balanced state.

The focus is on techniques you can use in real life, whether you are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, wired or simply in need of space to reset.

This is not about performance or pushing your limits. It is about creating safety in the body, building resilience in the nervous system and learning how to support yourself in moments of challenge.

You will leave with a clearer understanding of how your nervous system works and a small toolkit of practices you can return to whenever you need to feel more centred and at ease.

Yin Yoga & Sound Bath with Lois Richards

Thursday 12th March | 6 - 8pm

This two-hour workshop offers a nourishing combination of Yin Yoga followed by a full sound immersion, creating space to slow down, soften, and deeply rest.

The first hour is a gentle Yin Yoga practice, using longer-held, supported postures to work into the deeper layers of the body. The pace is slow and unhurried, allowing the breath to settle and the mind to quieten. This is a grounding practice with an emphasis on comfort, ease, and stillness rather than effort or stretch.

The second hour is a fully immersive sound bath, where you’ll be invited to lie down and rest while sounds from crystal and therapeutic singing bowls fill the space. Sound and vibration support relaxation and a sense of ease throughout the body, allowing the effects of the Yin practice to deepen naturally.

Look at this gorgeous setup 😍 Don’t miss out on David’s next Sound Baths at The Yoga Garden. Coming up at the end of this month, only a few places remain!

Saturday 28th February:

✨4pm - 5.30pm
✨6:30 - 8pm

Facilitated by David Tipper, this deep sensory experience will take you on a journey into the very nature of sound. Each Sound Bath is a unique experience that uses vibration, deep relaxation and meditation as a way of connecting with the energy of the time. It’s a perfect opportunity to shake free from the shackles of modern living and tune into your own natural resonance once more.

During an Earth Resonance Sound Bath you will be sonically bathed in sounds produced by instruments such as singing bowls, gongs, frame drum, ancient lyre, didgeridoo and voice (please note these change through the season). This is expressed in alignment with the beautiful soundscape of the Knepp Estate, as we are often joined by owls, white stalks, deer and other sounds of the wild.

Whether you are new to sound therapy or looking for a regular practice, these Sound Baths offer an excellent way to begin your journey towards improved peace and wellbeing.

Love Songs for the Heart ❤️
Mantra and Meditation with Sasha

Saturday 14th Feb | 4 - 5.30pm

Singing mantras and meditation can ‘water the seeds’ of heart qualities such as love, compassion, kindness and joy and help us to be more present in the here and now.

In singing a mantra to Green Tara we can connect with her compassion, in singing the Peace Prayer we can radiate the wish for all beings to be happy, and in singing to Shiva we can connect with the energy of change.

Singing mantras can quiet the chatter of our busy minds and bring us more into stillness and spaciousness.

As mantras are repetitive they are easily learnt. Each mantra will be introduced with a short explanation and will be accompanied by the harmonium. The workshop includes a guided meditation.

You are welcome to attend, whatever your experience!
