Yoga With Georgie Community New Forest are a down to earth, friendly and welcoming community who help make wellbeing practices fun and inclusive. Yoga uses posture, movement, breath, relaxation and mindfulness. Georgie teaches Kripalu Yoga and Meditation in Motion, a gentle hatha yoga practice with a compassionate approach and emphasis on mindfulness and physical and mental well-being that overflows into daily life. In a Kriplau class, each student learns to find their own level of practice on a given day by looking inward. Classes usually begin with breathing exercises and gentle stretches followed by a series of individual poses and final relaxation. What are some of the benefits of Yoga?

πŸŒžπŸ§˜πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ Thank you all for a relaxing and joyful summer term of yoga. We certainly made the most of the sunshine together and we enjoyed the flowing movements I learnt while completing my qigong certification. I've been teaching yoga, meditation and mindfulness for over 17 years so far and I'm always learning new techniques that can help us. Qigong is like tai chi and we've been really enjoying adding it to our many mindful movement practices. πŸ‘©β€πŸŽ“β˜―οΈ

I've loved being with you in our friendly and gentle Yoga With Georgie community here at Dibden Purlieu Community Hall on Lunedale Road, and we're looking forward to welcoming eachother back here to yoga from Monday 1st September 2025 onwards. Beginners are always made very welcome.

This month, I'll be joining wonderful local businesses from 10am until 4pm on Saturday 30th August 2025 in the Hythe Precinct area, in the New Forest, for the exciting Waterside Network Group event. I'll be offering free question and answer sessions and one-to-one yoga demonstrations there, or we can go somewhere private to chat about your needs if you prefer.

On 30th August, I'll be outside Forest Spice in Hythe under the yellow gazebo with Simon Chadwick and Ceratopia Books, so please do come down to say hello or for your free catch-up chat with me and find out what yoga and mindfulness tools could help you in your life right now.

I'm always here to help, advise or point you in the right direction for your wellbeing needs. We're already looking forward and planning our classes in September, eager to build on the momentum we've created together, and also enjoy our monthly Mindful Mondays Relaxation Sessions and seasonal Relaxation Retreats. This half-term's courses during Spring Term 2 are six weeks long and are weekly up until the Hampshire Easter holidays, so it's Β£60 for a yoga course or Β£48 for a chair yoga course. I'm happy to help find a way for yoga to help you and I can also provide 121 bespoke sessions in person or online when helpful.

Looking ahead to Easter, the holidays mean that there are no classes from 7th to 18th April and my birthday is on the 15th of April, so I might be celebrating another year around the sun! πŸ˜‰ 🌞 After Easter, our Summer Term 1 yoga courses will begin on 25th April and all dates and bookings are at yogawithgeorgie.co.uk

I'm so grateful for our friendly and inclusive yoga community and the help we've given eachother and the wider community this year, especially with both the firewalk fundraising and Food Bank fundraising we've done together in 2024!

Thank you for supporting eachother both within our yoga circles and by keeping in touch during the ups and downs of life. I'm so lucky to get to spend time with such welcoming, loving and generous friends as I do in our yoga community; you are all incredibly special to me.
