We’d like to thank The Cornermen band for donating nearly £1200 this month in Streaming Royalties!

The band were only supposed to do a one off gig when we started the service three years ago, but have continued to release nearly 30 original songs and do about 10 gigs a year, all raising funds and awareness for the service. Be sure to catch them at Bunkfest this year.

Alongside Reducing the Risk of Domestic Abuse we are a charity of the year. chosen by the Mayor of Didcot. Proceeds from this event will go both our services.

Massive thanks to Dannys Boxing and fitness. and all at the Colosseum for their generosity of sharing the fundraising for this fight. And also a huge thanks and huge congratulations to our very own Joe Howard for his continued fundraising / awareness raising for us and an outstanding performance in the ring, winning by KO in round one. 👊

Very honoured to be invited to this. The Didcot Powerhouse has been a massive support to us, since we began our journey.

Plus, It’s always great to meet other beneficiaries of the Didcot Powerhouse fund, to talk of ways we can help each other and work together for the benefit of our community.

Our 3rd year taking a team to the great Play2Give football tournament. They’re amazingly friendly hosts we always have great time. Plus it’s great to support another local charity.

It’s become a stand out annual event for us at The Cornermen and this year was our best showing yet with a win and a draw! (A few losses that we don’t need to dwell on 😆)

Massive thanks to Cornermen volunteer Sal for organising another interesting and fun walk!

Sal, an arboriculturalist takes a lot of care in planning the walks and it shows in the positive feedback the men who come on them with us give about them.

Brilliant news to share! The Cornermen received a 10k grant from the imagine foundation.

We are pleased to report to our supporters that we have recently been successful with a grant application to The Imagine foundation. The grant is to provide £10,000 a year over a two-year period, subject to a satisfactory review towards the end of the first year. The Trustees of the foundation said...
