We’d like to give a massive thanks Ridgefield Consulting for some pro bono support and guidance.

Pictured below with Corneman Steve is Ridgefield Managing Director Simon Thomas and his colleague Mi Mon. Mi mon is lending her expertise to help ensure everything behind the scenes runs like clockwork.

This kind of practical support is so appreciated and frees our small team up to concentrate on supporting the men who use us and developing the servce.

It’s our 3rd anniversary! Since November 2022 when we started with only 3 months running costs, it’s been a fantastic journey to get here. Couldn’t have done it with support and encouragement of our local community and some amazing funders/sponsors . Another massive thanks to St Peter's, Didcot for once again choosing us as one of the beneficiaries to their Quiz nights! The night raised over £300 for The Cornermen! and we are greatful for their continued support.

It was nice to return a year from when we were last with them and update of the developments and changes that have happened since then…some things haven’t changed though, the Cornermen quiz team, once got the wooden spoon 2 years running 😆

If you’ve not been to the quiz, it’s a great fun night that raises money for lots of good local causes. 👍

Massive thanks to Shane at Rex Garage for helping with an issue on The Cornermen car this morning. One of the way we reduce barriers to Men getting to our service is providing free transport to and from Didcot or Wallingford (it’s also a good space for a chat).

Rex garage refused to take any money for the help because they support what we do in the community.

We’re really grateful to them for their support and for keeping us safely on the road for the men who need this essential part of our service.

If you have lost someone to su***de and are aged 18 or over, we invite you to come along to our bereaved by su***de group and find comfort and understanding from others who have similar experiences to you. Anyone who has been bereaved by su***de is welcome, whether it be family, friends, professionals, or acquaintances.
The group begins on the 7th November, 6:30-8pm, and will run for 6 weeks. If you are interested ,or would like more information, please get in touch with us on hello@naishouse.org.uk
