It was all about the music today. Julia brought a lot of Elvis and a some very colourful props for our fortnightly session. Huge thanks to Julia also for tuning Elizabeth’s new violin, which she can now can pick up at anytime and play.
Congratulations to David who won our first music quiz at Valerien Court getting 99% correct! Joining us today was also members of our fortnightly Dementia Cafe (Age UK), who also enjoyed the music.🎵
Finally Olga was deeply touched when she received a letter today thanking her for her involvement in the laying the Wreath on behalf of Valerian Court on D Day. ❤️

It has been hot hot hot this week, but it hasn’t stopped us enjoying our activities. Our Stu kept our Zumba nice and chilled and we were rewarded by ice lollies. We manage our second boat trip with WABC - Wallingford Accessible Boat Club on Tuesday, it was the perfect weather to be on the river.
We played card bingo, we ate ice cream and baked our weekly cake, this time is was coffee cake. 😋
