Keeping on top of recovery 💆‍♀️ Loz in for a maintenance massage to release tension and recharge

27/04/2026

Loz taking recovery just as seriously as training 👏 Recovery isn’t the “extra” bit — it’s part of the process. Looking after the body, easing tight muscles, and making time to reset means better performance, better movement, and bouncing back stronger for the next session. Work hard, recover well

🏃‍♂️ Marathon Runners – Plan Your Pre-Race Recovery 🏃‍♀️

With race day approaching, now is the perfect time to book in for a deep tissue sports massage a few days before your event. This type of treatment focuses on releasing deeper muscle tension built up during your training cycle and can help your body feel lighter and more balanced going into race week.

Why book a deep tissue massage a few days before your race?
• Helps release tight muscles from heavy training
• Reduces built-up tension in calves, hamstrings, and glutes
• Improves mobility and circulation
• Supports recovery before tapering into race day

This treatment is best done around 3–5 days before your event, giving your body time to recover while still benefiting from the release work.

📅 Suggested pre-event booking dates in post below:

There are available times throughout the day.

If you’re preparing for your upcoming marathon and want to go into race week feeling looser, recovered, and ready, send me a message to book your slot. These appointments tend to fill quickly during race season.

Good luck with the final stretch of training – you’re nearly there!

Happy International Women’s Day 💜

Today I wanted to shine a spotlight on one very special woman in my life — my partner. Yesterday she absolutely smashed her first ultra marathon: 73.5 km in 10 hours 58 minutes. The video is her crossing the finish line.

Over the last year I’ve watched the dedication, early mornings, long runs, and sheer determination that went into getting to that start line. She doesn’t even really like massage, but she’s trusted me to help her along the way —which I’m very grateful for. Being able to support her through the training and build-up has meant a lot to me.

Bjorn, our dog, was also there to meet her at the finish line, which made the moment even more special.

I feel very lucky to be surrounded by some truly incredible women.

Dry Cupping Therapy ✨

Have you ever tried dry cupping therapy? This traditional treatment uses gentle suction to help increase circulation, ease muscle tension, and support the body’s natural recovery process. Many people find it deeply relaxing and beneficial for sore or tight muscles.

Those circular marks you sometimes see are completely normal.

Are you curious to give it a go?

Make some moves daily. Motion is lotion.

A deep release massage for the front of the shoulder can do more than ease local tension. it can help relieve discomfort in the upper back and neck too.

Tight muscles at the front of the shoulder often pull the body forward, creating imbalance and strain through the back. Releasing these areas helps restore better posture, movement, and overall comfort.

✨ Benefits include:
✅ Reduced shoulder and back tension
✅ Improved posture
✅ Increased mobility
✅ Deep relaxation

Give your body the reset it needs. feel lighter, move better, and relax deeper.

Sore back and shoulders? Stuck at a desk all day?
Your back might not be the problem.

When we spend hours sitting, typing, or looking at screens, the front of the body, especially the chest and neck becomes tight and overworked. This pulls the shoulders forward and places extra strain on the back.

Working on the chest, neck, and facial front line of the body can help release tension patterns and reduce trigger point pain in the back and shoulders.

Sometimes relief doesn’t come from treating where it hurts, but from addressing what’s causing the imbalance.

Move better. Feel better.
