✨Not all heroes wear capes...but they DO wear specs✨

Not your average Saturday at Jo Padmore Eyewear a couple of weeks ago! Two would-be thieves dashed in and started sweeping frames into a bag in the middle of the working day - but they didn’t count on one of our brave clients stepping in like a true legend 💪

Thanks to his quick thinking (and possibly excellent vision), the bag was wrestled back and the pair ran off empty-handed.

Not all heroes wear capes… but it turns out they do wear specs.

A very rare bit of drama for our lovely, peaceful village - business as usual resumes!

As you may know by now we are full swing into our summer sunglasses sale! We thought it might be helpful to remind you why it's important to invest in good quality sunglasses just like you would with your normal glasses.

First up...Better UV Protection!

👉 Eye Health: High-quality sunglasses block 99–100% of UVA and UVB rays, which helps prevent eye damage and reduces the risk of cataracts, macular degeneration, and other eye issues caused by sun exposure.
👉 Skin Protection: They also reduce the risk of skin cancer around your eyes by protecting the delicate skin from harmful UV rays.
