It's important to keep on top of your prescription medication. However, if you run out over the bank holiday and you don't have a prescription with you, you may be able to have a consultation with a pharmacist.

We wish all our patients a good Bank Holiday Weekend. Here’s what to do if you need help while we're closed:

Please see attached the lists of Pharmacies open over the Bank Holiday Period across the Vale of Glamorgan & Cardiff. You can visit your pharmacy for advice on many minor illnesses.

Call NHS 111 and press option 2 to be put through to a Mental Health Specialist if you need to talk to someone about your mental health.

Call NHS 111 if you think you may need to attend an A&E department or need urgent out of hours care or advice that cannot wait until the GP surgery is back open.

Call 999 in a medical emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

Contact your dentist if you think you need urgent dental treatment. If you do not have a dentist, contact NHS 111 for advice.

We will be open as normal on Tuesday 26th August 2025.

The Surgery will be closed on the following date:
📅 Monday 25th August 2025

Repeat Prescriptions take 72hrs to process (not including weekends or bank holidays) so please check your medication and order ahead of time to avoid any delays.

If your medication is ordered through a nominated pharmacy it is your responsibility to contact them and check your medication is ordered in time.
