Look after yourself 🙂

Maybe it's taking a few deep breaths, enjoying a warm cup of tea, or doing some gentle stretches to release tension.

Or perhaps it’s giving yourself the gift of Bowen Therapy, allowing your body to relax and restore balance naturally, as best it's able.

Whatever your body needs, listen closely and honour it.

Beyond technique, Bowen Therapy is grounded in quiet attention, respect for the body, and a belief in less-is-more.

🎉 5 Fun Facts About the Bowen Technique 🎉
(AKA the gentle therapy with powerful results!)

1️⃣ It’s all about fascia! 👍
Bowen moves target the connective tissue (fascia) that wraps around your muscles and organs - helping to release tension, restore balance, and reboot your body.

2️⃣ No cracking, no crunching 🤗
It’s gentle, non-invasive, and you stay fully clothed - it’s what makes Bowen Therapy so unique (and relaxing!).

3️⃣ Less is more ✨
Practitioners often pause between moves to let the body respond. Those quiet moments? That’s when the magic happens.

4️⃣ It was developed by an Aussie legend.🇦🇺
Tom Bowen, the creator of the technique, was a self-taught therapist from Australia - helping thousands of people with his hands-on healing in the 1950s–80s.

5️⃣ It helps more than just sore backs. 🤕
From sports injuries to stress, headaches to hormonal balance - Bowen can support a wide range of conditions by helping the body heal itself.

FYI 🙂

Ever heard your Bowen Therapist tell you not to wear your wallet in your back pocket?

This photo beautifully illustrates why!

Sitting unevenly can create subtle imbalances that lead to muscle tension, joint strain, nerve irritation, and more, over time.

I am able to measure your HRV, and review it’s connections with your health.

I am able to measure your HRV, and review it’s connections with your health.

❤️❤️Your HRV is an indication of your mental and physical heath. 🩺

The heart doesn’t beat like a metronome.
The time lapse between each beat differs from beat to beat.

Measuring the average difference over a period of time will give you your HRV score.

🧠Your HRV is an indication of the state of your autonomic nervous system (ANS)
The more your ANS is struggling - the lower your HRV.

Your HRV is used as an indication of your vagal tone.
The lower your vagal tone - the more your body will be struggling with physical and mental health.

Or the other way around - the more you neglect your physical and mental health - the lower your vagal tone will go.

In my experience - when HRV is below 50, some work needs doing.
Saying that - HRV is very personal to you and your life.
The 50 score is from my experience in clinic.
(I have had people with scores in the 40’s with zero health problems.)

How to raise your HRV?
✅Sort your life out.
✅Minimise stress
✅Adequate sleep
✅Exercise
✅Eat good REAL food.
✅Practice gratitude
