We have rescheduled the Eventbrite listing so anyone who already registered can just note the new date in their diary.

We have the next in our series of winter evening online talks coming up next week on Thursday 11th Dec at 7pm. It will be a demonstration of building a jug from Barbel at Cromarty Pottery. The session she did for us last February showing a teapot was very engaging so don't miss this one!

If you haven't already signed up and want to be a part of the Action for ME - Big Survey, see the post below

Our first Big Survey in over 5 years launches next week! You can sign up in advance to receive the survey once it's live, head to our web page to find out more: www.actionforme.org.uk/research-campaigns/our-research-work/big-survey/

Some key information 👇
📅Opens 10am, Monday 13th October - 27th January 2026

✅You don't need a formal diagnosis: if you're in the UK and live with ME or Long Covid with ME-like symptoms, you’ll be able to take part

✅All questions are optional, and you can pause and resume later

✅The survey was designed in partnership with people with lived experience of ME and Long Covid and it’s being produced in collaboration with Durham University’s Institute for Medical Humanities.

✅Support filling out the survey will be available for those who need it

✅Data collected will be used to shape our service development, advocacy priorities and research.

Our last Big Survey was completed by over 4,000 children, young people, and adults, in 2019. This year we're focusing on the impact of living with ME - we'll be sharing more once it's live!

DON'T FORGET THIS THURSDAY! Booking is now open for the online talk / Q&A with Professor Stephen Leslie.
This event is open to 'anyone' living with a long term condition within the Highlands, do get in touch if you have any questions, we'd love to hear from you.
“The History of Highland Hospitals project has been documenting and preserving the legacy of healthcare institutions across the Scottish Highlands since 2008. It reflects a rich tapestry of healthcare evolution, with over 60 institutions recognised, including fever hospitals, poorhouses, and maternity homes - many of which were previously forgotten or poorly documented – and highlighting their (often unexpected) origins, development and impact on the community”
Book your free ticket here at Eventbrite : https://www.eventbrite.com/e/1852719406619?aff=oddtdtcreator
