It was a winning week for our members at the 2026 Highland Boccia Tournament. Congratulations to the Snappy Snappers who took the cup, with the Boccia Botchers in silver medal position. Cheek 2 Cheek were bronze medalists this year and also won the largest raffle prize. Kate left the building with the wooden spoons and several raffle prizes on behalf of teams from Kyleakin Connections.

As well as the main competition, members enjoyed the newly-inaugurated games room, a seated yoga session and a quiz featuring little known facts about staff members that went to a tie-break, the Nairn Bairns emerging victorious with the nearest guess to the correct answer.

Thank you to our volunteers Alan, Sean and Lindsay for rolling up their sleeves and helping to make the day a huge success. Also to our colleagues from The Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland for actively participating in our highlight event of the year.

Most importantly we would like to reiterate our gratitude to City Mobility Inverness and Aberdeen and Able Care Inverness for continuing to sponsor the event and Carol Elliot specifically for presenting the prizes.
