A man is walking along the beach, and he sees thousands of star fish washed upon the sand. He starts to pick them up one at a time and toss them back into the sea, a young man sees what this older gentleman is doing and says to the older wiser man “ what are you doing” to which the older man responds “ I’m saving the star fish” the boy looks at him and says looking a bit confused but surely you’re not gonna save them all?” The older wiser gentleman looks at him as he tosses yet another starfish back into the sea, with a distinct smile on his face “ no but I made a difference to that starfishes life”
The moral of the story we may not be able to save everyone, but we can make a big difference to someone daily “bringing out the best in people, businesses, humanity and Nature” if you can be anything be kind
