We had a lovely summer music therapy morning today, and it filled the room with joy.

The lovely people living with us sang, clapped, and smiled throughout. Margaret sang along to every song, especially her favourite old classics, and even got a little standing ovation from her friends!

Moments like these remind us how powerful More...Socialising and music can be in bringing people together.

Today we had a fun-filled 1960s-themed groovy garden lemonade party!

Everyone living with us joined in the spirit of the era, dressing up in fabulous '60s fashion. We enjoyed a sunny afternoon with refreshing lemonades, ice creams, popsicles, and a spread of tasty snacks. The garden was filled with sweet sounds of classic 1960s music that had us all swaying and grooving together.

It was a lovely day of fun, More...Connection, and More...Fresh Air!

Our Gents Club spent some lovely time together doing arts and crafts during our More...Creativity session, where we painted flowers using stencils and stamps.

It was a fun activity that everyone enjoyed, as each person brought their own unique flair to the artwork, and it was wonderful to see how different each flower turned out. Some chose bright, bold colours, while others went for soft pastels. A truly memorable day.

Yesterday's More...Thinking Oomph! quiz brought back the magic of board games.

Our people gathered together for a fun-filled session that tested their knowledge of classics like Monopoly, Scrabble, and Cluedo. As the questions rolled in, so did the memories of rainy afternoons spent playing with siblings during family game nights.

Today, the people living with us celebrated U.S. Independence Day— painting American flags, playing classic patriotic songs, and filling the space with red, white, and blue spirit.

We played a fun game of quoits today, and it brought lots of laughter!

Our people thoroughly enjoyed taking part — for many, it brought back fond memories of their childhood. It was lovely to see everyone so engaged and smiling. A special mention to Patricia, who recently joined our family — she joined in the fun and made some wonderful memories with us already!
