‼️Important Notice Regarding Anima - Our New Triage System‼️

We understand that adapting to a new system can be challenging and we appreciate your patience as we all adjust to using Anima, our new triage platform.

However, we are deeply concerned that our reception team have been receiving abusive telephone calls. While we recognise that change can sometimes be frustrating, we ask that all patients treat our staff with respect and courtesy. Our team is here to help and is simply carrying out their duties. Abusive behaviour will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

For patients without internet access, you can still call the surgery, and a care navigator will complete the Anima form with you over the phone.

For all others, we strongly encourage you to submit the Anima form online via our website for all appointment requests and administrative queries. If you are having difficulty accessing the form, please do not hesitate to call us—our care navigators are happy to assist you.

Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.

‼️ANIMA Help‼️ For anyone struggling with the technical side of Anima, whether it be creating an account, adding dependents or just logging in, we have our fabulous PPG volunteers who will be available for assistance in the waiting room on Wednesday 9th, Thursday 10th & Friday 11th July between 9am and 11am. ‼️Please come and ask for help!‼️

‼️BOTESDALE HEALTH CENTRE - Important Announcement: New Triage System from 2nd July

From 2nd July 2025, we're introducing a Total Triage system via Anima for all appointment and administrative requests. This means all appointment requests will initially be assessed by our triage team to ensure you receive the right care, at the right time, with the right clinician.

Further information on how Total Triage works will be available closer to the launch date. More details about Anima, including FAQs are on our website and in the practice. Thank you for your cooperation.

Thank you to everyone for your patience today as I.T. systems in Suffolk GP practices were affected and services interrupted.

The situation is now resolved, but there will obviously be some catching up to do.

Practice staff are doing their very best.

Thank you to patients for your understanding and staff for all you are doing.

Unfortunately, a significant number of GP practices’ IT systems are currently not working.

This includes phone and online connections.

We are working to resolve this with great urgency. If you have life threatening conditions, please dial 999 or if you are experiencing medical issue and need support or advice, please call 111.

We'll update as soon as possible.

We are currently experiencing technical difficulties, and as a result, all of our systems - including our telephone lines - are temporarily unavailable. The issue has been reported and we are working to resolve it as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
