Meet Liz.

I first met Liz when she came to see me for a physiotherapy appointment for an injury. We did a thorough assessment, looked at her movement as a whole and made a plan together.

Liz had tried Pilates before, but hadn’t quite found the right class or a friendly local group that worked for her.

She’s now comes every week, always smiling, always laughing, and never afraid to call me out when I get my lefts and rights mixed up… or when my counting goes slightly off. She has even suggested SAS theme for the intermediate class (still working on that one…..)

Watching people grow stronger and more confident each week and building this little community is honestly my favourite part of teaching.

Thanks Liz for being such a brilliant part of the class.

Finding the right class makes all the difference.

So If you’ve ever felt like you needed to be a certain body type, to have special or matching clothes, or to already know what you’re doing before coming to Pilates, please know you really don’t, that’s not the case with my classes.

I run different classes for different levels, and if you’re unsure where to start or need to work around an injury we can always begin with a 1:1 or a physio assessment.

Leaking? heaviness? Pain?
Every week I hear:
“I thought this was normal.”
“I didn’t know I could get help.”
“Why did no one tell me this?”

Pelvic health education is still so limited, and we often dont know about it until it’s a problem. I always show my clients the pelvic floor and it’s often the first time they have seen it. Understanding it is often the first piece of the puzzle.

This Monday I am running a free, lottery-funded workshop is about giving you the information most women were never taught. If you’ve been unsure whether your symptoms are “just something you live with” this is for you.

This will be an educational session, for all stages of life, with a some movement practices and practical advice you can use straight away.
Spaces are limited, so bookings essential.
I have added 3 more spaces for Monday’s session.

It should come with understanding.

Knee osteoarthritis isn’t just “wear and tear.”
It’s about load tolerance, flare-up patterns, strength, sensitivity and long-term management.

Education reduces fear, improves confidence and it improves outcomes.

If you left an appointment unsure what was actually happening in your knee or your pain you’re not alone.

That’s where physiotherapy should step in.

Assessment is always better than guesswork,
Get in touch if you want proper time to understand what’s going on with your symptoms.

🌸 Free Pelvic Health Workshop 🌸
Part of the Lottery-funded Friendship & Health Hub at The Space Burston

Pelvic floor issues are far more common than most women realise – with up to 50% of women experiencing some pelvic floor issue at some point in their life and not just after having babies.

This free, physiotherapist-led workshop is part of the monthly Friendship & Health Hub, funded by the National Lottery, and is open to women at any stage of life who want to better understand their pelvic health.

We’ll gently cover common issues such as:
• Pelvic floor anatomy and ways to strengthen it
• leaking when coughing, sneezing or exercising
• pelvic heaviness or prolapse symptoms
• bladder urgency or frequent trips to the loo
• pelvic floor changes around peri-menopause and menopause

I’m a local pelvic health physiotherapist, Mummy MOT® practitioner and mum of two.

This session is designed to be relaxed, informative, practical and reassuring, without awkwardness or pressure.

Suitable for:
• new mums
• peri- and post-menopausal women
• anyone experiencing bladder, bowel or pelvic floor symptoms
• anyone who wants to learn more about their pelvic floor.

You’ll leave with:
✔️ a clearer understanding of your pelvic floor
✔️ practical tips you can start using straight away
✔️ confidence to know what’s normal, what’s not, and when support can help

✨Mummy MOT® appointments now available in Diss ✨

I’m Sarah, a women’s health physiotherapist and also a mum of two, so I truly understand how confusing (and sometimes overwhelming) postnatal recovery can feel.

For many women, the 6-week GP check is quick and doesn’t always answer questions like:

• Is my pelvic floor actually working properly?
• Is my tummy separation healing?
• Why do I still feel weak, sore or uncomfortable?
• When is it safe to return to exercise?

A Mummy MOT® is a longer, in-depth postnatal assessment with a women’s health physio. It looks at your pelvic floor, abdominal muscles, posture and movement, and gives you a clear, personalised plan to help you recover and feel confident in your body again.

It doesn’t matter if it’s been 6 weeks, 6 months or even years since you had your baby, it’s never too late to have that check or discuss the concerns you are having 🤍

📅 Appointments available Tuesdays & Thursdays

If you are not sure if it’s right for you, get in touch and I can answer any questions you might have.
