How is it August!

I’m loving how the gongs bring tranquility to the room. Little shimmers and light.

There are a few appointments next week and for the rest of August. I have not put any dates for September yet bar the first week I think 🤗 I am still waiting for my Uni timetable and I will also be away for a couple of weeks.

Sound baths are in the system though! And there is a lovely one with Helen at the end of September. I know what you’re thinking! It’s miles away, I’ll book it later and then the spaces go 😬.

So South Creake, you think it’s miles away, but….you are spending a morning with us, we finish at 1pm and then you have the rest of the day to explore either Burnham Market, Fakenham, Holkham, Wells. Etc or go to South Creake Abbey where there’s cafes, shops and lots of things.

Just dropping this here 😎

September is like that magical month ~ like a limbo but a good limbo. Where things starts again, education, deals, visions, connections.

What better way to fuel the way with sound therapy.

Nothing forced, just pockets of glow to aid you towards your magical limbo.

I have some lovely sessions coming up at the usual places. At Roots I will have to wait until I have my uni timetable 🙂.

Purchased from new a couple of years ago via Thomann. It has the original box and tuning key.

It has minor scuff on the corners for going in an out of the box. There are no missing strings.

You can hear the note on the stories I did this morning. It is a lovely addition to your sound therapy instruments. Can be put on the body.

It is advertised currently at £573 and I am looking for £450 + postage (I am based in Norfolk, NR17).

Lovelies, Helen and I are coming together for this beautiful offering at the end of September.

The beauty of social media, it allows practitioners and individuals to meet, forge relationships and work together.

We would love you to join us with a morning of Pilates and Sound. The venue is at South Creake Hall in North Norfolk, near Fakenham. It is a beautiful venue, light and enough expanse for us to move and create space.

Your morning will start with a welcome and then Pilates with Helen. We will have a quick rest break and continue the thread with a sound bath. After the physical sessions are finished we continue to join together with refreshments.

You will also receive an aftercare goodie pack to take home with you.

View point

It can narrow, it can be tunnel vision, what you see from one angle and another will be different.

The impression can be taken from “what do you need at this moment in time?”

If you need to see the bigger picture you can, take it all in from the surroundings, take it all in from the peripherals, spatial, sagittal, transverse, all of it…..take it all in.

Yet, if your need at this time is small, if your need at this time is just within your bubble and your capacity does not allow you to reach beyond….. take in the view in front of you, and focus on that view.

Take in what you can, what you see, what you feel. Yes it may be a small view point, it may not offer much…but it is enough.

It may feel cocooned, but it is something that can be of safety, a home that allows you to look inside and realise the magical surroundings that holds you in that space.

Our view point changes over time. The beauty of being human, nothing stands still, choices can change and adapt, evolve.

It is the “Listening point” 😊 though I have used it here as a visual example.

We visited the Wicken Fen nature reserve today and walked around the sound sculpture trail by

Being a sound therapist I was excited to go and listen to the installation. Bringing awareness to the sound of flora and fauna around the fen. Intricate and detailed installations dotted around the reserve.

We were lucky enough to meet and chatted with Kathy whilst she was going round tweaking a few areas.

If you are a member of national trust I highly recommend the visit. There’s a cafe and we also got to go on a boat ride, Sally our guide gave us the fascinating history of the fen and reserve.

We saw kingfishers, common lizards and other creatures too.

The rain didn’t stop us, pack your wellies, umbrellas and rain coat. Did I mention there was a cafe 😉.

WELLNESS IN THE WILD

What a weekend!!! Last year I had FOMO definitely and contacted them asap to put my name down for sound therapy.

I did two sessions in the kids tent and two sound baths. I was happy wherever they would set me up and also had my bell tent for treatments.

Loved the kids sessions ~ we played with drums, shakers, bowls, eggs and tubes, rain sticks and more.

Beautiful sound bath with amazing sun followed by heavy rainfall (I did admittedly played the Neptune gong ~ water and Wind gong ~ oops 😬).

Sunday we closed with another sound bath this time with the Earth (Chau) and Sun Gong. Lo behold the sun came out and shone for us ~ weaving people on their merry way.

I am tired and lots of unpacking to do 😮‍💨. I’ve loved making connections with new practitioners who I met as my neighbours in the therapy field.

Sharing Reiki, sound and Head massage in the bell tent which was kindly lent by 😃.

Thank you to my wee broods helping me set up, carrying my equipments, following my instructions, keeping the house in order whilst I work 😅🤣.

Thank you to Sarah, Ed and Andrew for being fantastic hosts and listening to all feedback and suggestions ♥️. I was well looked after 😊🤗.

Amazing food/drinks and businesses. I couldn’t keep away from the gong and bowl stands, amazing amazing.

I’d love to be back next year 🩵
