Green fingers at the ready! 🪏🪴

We’re so excited that our new little greenhouse is up and running! We are looking forward to growing lots more veggies, flowers and plants in Sensory Gardening club and for the residents to be able to use this independently and as they wish. 🤗

We had a great time with Bruce, we danced and sang our way through the afternoon and even enjoyed sipping on some delicious drinks and crafty cocktails from the tipple trolley. 🍸

Fueling our well deserving team, one cake at a time!

The wellbeing cafe is a great place to unwind, enjoy refreshments/sweet treats and connect for our hard working staff. Our team consists of a mix of wonderful individuals, who each bring something special to the home, and we endeavour to create a supportive community with wellbeing being a central focus. 🫶

Our staff make our residents smile every day so it is only fair they get an opportunity to sit down and share a laugh and a smile amongst themselves 😁💜

Lest we forget 🕊️

Remembrance Day - A time for community and reflection. Here at Oaklands we have spent the last few days remembering and honouring those who served and sacrificed for our freedom. We held a coffee morning on Remembrance Sunday and have been busy working on meaningful crafts and reminiscence. 💜

We have been getting crafty, making tissue paper poppies ready for Remembrance Day. This is a lovely simple but effective craft, and these pretty flowers bring a pop of colour into the home, as we prepare ourselves for this time of remembrance 💜
