Today we said a very sad (but fond) farewell to our wonderful Pete, as he sets off for his well-earned retirement by the sea.

Pete has been a mainstay here at Songbird, having been part of the team for almost a decade. He started off in our labelling crew, before advancing to our manufacturing department. He’s done the bulk of our manufacturing for many years now, so if you’ve purchased one of our waxes or balms in recent years, there’s a good chance it was made personally by Pete.

Pete is also our resident philosopher, inhouse comedian, and is a published author of numerous books. But one of our favourite things about Pete is that he has consistently kept our caffeine-levels topped up with his delicious teas and coffees every day at 10am on the dot!

Pete, we will miss your humour, fascinating stories, and philosophical musings – especially at coffee time! We all wish you continued health and happiness for your next adventure.
