We had an amazing time last week when we had the pleasure of nearly 80 of our clients, their families and our own team enjoying our annual Christmas lunch! Our manager Lou Berreen hosted the event, cooking up a fabulous two course Xmas meal, supported by her family and a few of our own staff.

We even dropped off a few meals to those who couldn't make it.

We were delighted to host our local MP Alison Bennett for Mid Sussex - to our offices, who was happy to learn more around the pressures and challenges facing social care providers.

As well as meeting some of our amazing 60 strong team, and having a guided tour of our lovely offices and training room, we also had the chance to hold important discussions about the state of funding in social care, the pressures on care businesses created by continued increases in minimum wages and National Insurance contributions and the most recent announcement that workers from abroad were going to become limited, creating all kinds of problems for the thousands of people in the UK who depend on live-in care.

Every year our Registered Manager Lou Berreen enjoys hosting our clients for a Christmas Dinner! Supported by her family and our colleagues this year she managed to put on a fantastic festive spread for over 50 hungry people at Wivelsfield Village Hall! We even had a surprise visitor - ho! ho! ho!

We were delighted that 30 of our team were able to join us for our annual Christmas Dinner this year! For the second year in a row we were well looked after by Plaza Uno restaurant, who produced an amazing tapas meal for us. It is always a pleasure to take the staff out to pay tribute to the incredible work they do throughout the year supporting our vulnerable clients 🤗
